Good morning, I am sneaking back in after a few years absence! 😎
I have been lurking & today I received a sign from Facebook that I should join you again! The sign was a Facebook memory of joining the Facebook group 17 years ago! 😱 (There has been no interaction for a couple of years).
So far today washing up has been done & put away.
Information for taxes sent to gestoria.
List made of deliveries due, I may have a slight problem with online buying! 😗
Thank you for the lists.

Afternoon all,
Welcome back, SGT!
Just stopping for some warming soup. I switched out the LR for the bedroom today. Bedding changed, washed and hung (too hopefully as it turns out) outside, bed remade, room aired, dusted and vacuumed. Landing, stairs and hall also done, as per the list. A veggie tagine is in the sc, with all the sorry veg from the fridge. I have done HH admin, and will see off the rest with another HH this afternoon. I need to WUDUPA as well. I get so much more done when DH is out 🤣. Nothing to do with resisting any temptation to go to the allotment of course 😉.

Welcome back SGT 👋🏼
I’ve not posted for a couple weeks.. yet following along when time allows..
Have been cleaning in stages when able, noted a few jobs that really need doing as the sun came out (highlighted some dusty areas 🫣)I spent most of yesterday staining the pergola that desperately needed doing.. over did it and ached terribly for rest of the night 😬😖 I just like to finish what I start.. My body argues in protest & I should listen really as it stuffs me up for the next day 🙄
Today I attended an appointment with DS2, finally managed to get someone to listen to him.. he’s been asking them to help him with a work coach issue for weeks. Here’s hoping this will finally lead to him getting a job & being happier with himself! 🤞🏼
So I have been a sloth like flylady today.. In fact so much so, I may just give myself the rest of the day off🤭@Fayolle I am in awe of your productivity.. I shall use you for inspiration tomorrow & get some jobs done 👍🏼

Welcome back SGT! I think I first joined in 2007 😆
Full day in the office today and after my GP appointment yesterday, today the headaches returned as I started work, only 5 days without one in the last 4 weeks, still DH picked up the new preventative meds so fingers crossed.
Work was heavy as I continue to plough my way through the actions we need to comply with the changes for the ERA 2025. 5 mins before the end of the day I get a text from the electrician who did the work on the bathroom/bedroom stating I hadn’t paid his bill for over £500. Totally puzzled as I’d never received one from him and he was engaged via the builder who I paid everything to. Luckily the final (cash) bill that included sparkys work I had typed up in a piece of paper and got the builder to sign. Several messages back and forth he’s gone quiet so I am hoping that the builder has put him right, I really didn’t need that today.I was then grumpy and snapped at both DH and DD before bursting into tears. Exercise routine was missed as I’d forgotten about it and we didn’t have enough time before dinner was ready.
Dinner was fashioned between us and I have loaded the DW and put on and S/S the kitchen.Off for an early night tonight with my new medication which may make me drowsy, I am hoping it will help me sleep right through instead of me waking anywhere between 2 and 4am.
Tomorrow is my long WFH day 8-6, and then I have to make cookies for the team coming down from Sheffield on Thursday 🙄

Welcome back SGT *Hums 'Hotel California'.
All washing ironed including the tablecloth which I line dried today, before the weather turned nasty - its a thick JL one, good quality but big.
Have enjoyed footy tonight, my team won and my favourite player scored so I am happy. (WSL).
List going up…

Morning all cracks whip time to fly!
DW x 1
off to my vol job for a few hours but an immense bit of flingage has been commenced - the Wii and all related gubbins is going. DiL is going to see if her school (she's a teacher not a pupil) want it for their Nurture room; if they don't bite I am going to see if the women's refuge can use it. It was given to the Vallikids many years ago by my sister and BiL, when I could never have afforded such luxuries so I have checked with them.
I shall put the ironed stuff away, too.
Yesterday the elderly gent at the front of the queue in Mr M was choosing what to put back as he couldn't afford it and the couple behind him bought the item for him - the interaction made my heart glad. I had just said to SD if I were behind him I would buy it for him.

Morning all,
Love it when Valli cracks her whip….🤣. That supermarket tale is so sad but so heartwarming at the same time.
MadamMim, please don’t be fooled by my productivity. Slothdom is my natural state. Sometimes I make it all the way to Wednesday before it kicks in.Kazmeister, be kind to yourself. And buy the cookies as well this time.
DH is out. Again. Today he has gone shoe shopping. I declined the pleasure of going with him. I hate shopping. I hate shopping with him even more. It has made cleaning the bathroom a pleasurable alternative 🤣. The bedroom was done yesterday, but in deference to Valli’s list I have cleaned the blinds in there. I drew the line at cleaning the windows as the sun came out 😉. I have also turned out the medicine cabinet, mainly as the paracetamol kept falling out. OOD things seem to breed in there. I have HHI to do, then I want to finish sewing a pair of trousers. My sewing machine keeps hesitating which is concerning. I have oiled and cleaned it but it sounds like something more sinister is going on.

Welcome back SGT.
Sorry about your sewing maching having funny turns Fayolle. I have a great sewing machine engineer who can sort out any problems when he's not depressed but I fear he's going through one of his depressive bouts again at the moment as he hasn't returned my latest call. Good sm engineers are few and far between I fear.
YL - I second Fayolle - bought ones will be fine.
After a massive burst of Flying energy on Sunday I haven't been feeling it this week so far, so I couldn't post. Did about six hours admin yesterday but my desk is still chaotic. Because I'm frightened when Valli cracks her whip, today I have vacuumed through the house and washed up all the empty plastic pots, ready to receive the plugs I'm nurturning. They're all drying in the sun. I've also cleared up two Wren 'mistakes' and have the WM twirling with the stinky towels used to blot everything up as it's sunny and windy here, although very cold, so I may be able to get them all dry before the rain due later. Hope so.
On Monday Belovéd and I went to my old alma mater to see student osteopaths as we both have painful, longstanding, intensely irritating conditions that we can't get to the bottom of. Mine is of 32 years standing and I'm really sick and tired of it. Thrilled to say my student identified the problem during a lengthy consultation and after only 48 hours and doing the prescribed exercises I can, at long last, feel the difference. It would make such a difference to my life if we got to the bottom of it. Because they're third year students who are supervised by their tutor before they even think about a treatment plan, and they need the experience in order to qualify, the assessment was free and subsequent appointments are only £15, free to Blue Light cardholders (of which I am one, very fortunately). Maximum of six appointments per person. Very MSE if anyone needs treatment - we've got local students in dentistry, opticians, and now we find - osteopaths. Probably physios too, but I haven't checked that, but I have used the opticians service and it was excellent. Just a thought if anyone needs treatement and happens to be near a medical training centre.
Better is good enough.Note to self: Motivation follows Action, not the other way around.7
