I'm perfectly happy with Windows 11

I use Win11 for work, and at home. Have never had any problems on either device. Admittedly there are annoyances with all windows versions but nothing is especially good or bad with 11

Wow MSN has a lot of ads and sponsored content - that was exhausting for the few seconds I was on that page.

Am I interpreting this right - the content was literally just one paragraph?

One cannot be sure of it, yet some elements of Windows 11 can potentially be left to suggest that the refinement is still underway. There are features still being patched and changed, and this might indicate that the system is struggling to find a balance.

As @Emmia I'm very happy with W11, though if I had to critic I'd say I'm not happy with the continued integration of AI features, you have instances where modern day computers are running the current OS version slower than older computers running the versions of the day. I don't need Copilot integrated into every native app. Microsoft recently promised to step back from their 'AI Everywhere' strategy: https://www.techpowerup.com/345893/microsoft-steps-back-from-ai-everywhere-in-windows-11-to-focus-on-core-features though evidently the proof is not in the pudding: https://www.techpowerup.com/346546/microsoft-shows-ai-integration-in-windows-11-running-in-task-bar-and-file-explorer

I'd imagine it has more to do with tech companies spending considerable sums of money and wanting to find a way to get a return on their investment, even if they have to force the features on their customers.

It certainly has it's flaws, but then so does everything. I think overall W10 was a better product. The biggest difference MS could make is not related to W11, it is trying to force CoPilot into everything.

That is exactly how I feel. I hate CoPilot and dislike Office 365.

MS seem to be messing with things rather than improving them. It's the same with Office, they can't stop messing and often make things more complicated for no reason other than to force users to update and spend more money.

Sorry but that's an awful article, it feels like pure unfiltered AI slop poorly laid out and vague on detail. When I wasn't being fed AI images of people in front of their computers, I was being given random AI images of a pensioner couple and a schematic of a laptop?

It was nostalgic visiting MSN for the first time in years, but I can't say I'll be back,

It is what it is, an PC os not without its faults , and I agree with @MattMattMattUK they should stop pushing copilot, and ads. The biggest mistake , in my opinion, trying to trash perfectly good PCs by saying they cannot be upgraded, not a very responsible stance, and of course blatantly untrue.

If one reads the comments by others on my link, it seems many others agree with @MattMattMattUK
