Windows 11 love it or hate it?

That is a bizarre article, it seems to just be a headline
I would not install Win10 or Win11 except in a sandbox on a virtual machine and even then as a "local account" on a partitioned virtual storage.
It is allegedly an advertising platform, it has a built in AI Spyware and a whole lot more according to this guy

Another +1 for the 'I'm fine with Windows 11' PoV here.
There's always so much heavy lifting of words like risk, would, could, potentially in all these scare youtubers. MacOS could be doing all the same things.I've used the Windows 7 pro that I bought on release for about £100 through Windows 8, 10 and now 11 - all free upgrades. That's nearly 20 years; if Microsoft is trying to exploit me they're doing a very bad job.
Also, I don't think I'm being tracked into oblivion. My desktop is an ad-free zone, I don't see them - ever. Perhaps I should count myself lucky I don't have an M$ advertising lackey thrusting a personalised, hard sell placard in my face as I leave my flat in the mornings.
I haven't seen copilot forced anywhere. I uninstall things I don't need - however since someone up thread pointed it out, I do see the feature in notepad!
Perhaps its because I build my own PCs rather than buying a bloated laptop, but if you put a bit of time into your settings and remove standard post-Windows install bloat the OS is perfectly civil.

I like Win 11 settings pages better than Win 10. Copilot isn't an issue as not installed. My gripe would be fixed taskbar at the bottom, I read MS are going to allow it to be moved again, I'm currently using a TP software to do this.

The thing about Microsoft since Windows 10 is that their concept of uninstall can amount to you not seeing the icon but the software component is still there and still doing stuff.
Also Microsoft continue their monopolistic practice of changing settings to their own software, you can install say VLC and associate it with various file extensions only to find that when you click on some media it launches Microsoft bloatware.
With this kind of behaviour by a corporate why would I trust them to do what I ask them to do?
They are not alone but just because Google do things like install services to reinstall their software does not make it OK for anyone else. Even in Win7 days you had to disable such trojans and you still do with Chrome, Brave and Opera.
The problem with Microsoft CoPilot is that it is deeply embedded, it is supposed
I have used all Microsoft Windows operating systems but Win10 was a major diversion and took a lot of work to lock it down, Win11 seems even worse and there is nothing in it that makes me keen to upgrade. In fact I am at a place where I would rather go with Linux.
It is not that I "hate" Win11, it seems to have all the awful things from Win10 and more stuff I do not need.

What is all the excitement about upgrading to Win 11?
I left it until late September and upgraded and I've got everything as it was with Win 10. So what's the problem?

I’m neutral
It has a habit of reordering my icons on rare occasion
My mouse won’t reliably initiate on start up
New Outlook doesn’t appear to like BT email (major annoyance)
But apart from that it is what it is

Have you tried "Classic Outlook"?
