Great. That's what I thought. It's just that when I googled "calendar month" it had multiple definitions.

I just came here for some clarification about this!
My immediate thought was if your account was opened on the 10th of April, you have until the 10th of May to make the deposit.
However, if this was from account opening, say on the 10th of April, and you got paid on the 15th, but the SWITCH didn't occur until the 18th, you could miss out on the criteria using the above theory?
But other people say it is the first full month (i.e. April wouldn't count, you would have to wait until May 1st and then make the deposit any time in May.
Potential risk of confusion here. It's almost like they don't want to give away half a grand! 😁

As an aside, I signed up on the 11th of April and they set the switch date for the 20th (yesterday). However, yesterday I got a text saying:
"Your switch request could not be processed, please call the Lloyds Banking Switching team on 03456 025293"
When I called them, they made me go through the switching application again on the app on my phone. When I asked how this would be any different to last time, (as I was entering the exact same data), and what caused the problem, the lady on the phone just said it was an "internal issue". The new date it gave me was the 29th.
I really don't get why, if this was an internal issue, they felt the need to send me a message which suggested that I (or my switching bank) had done something wrong. Nor why I had to be the one to re-start the process, along with an additional 9 day delay???
Has anyone else experienced this?

My first attempt failed due to a mismatch in the last 5 digits of the debit card being supplied for the donor account. I didn't take a screenshot of it being entered so I can't say for certain it wasn't my error, so it's interesting that they've admitted to an "internal issue". My first attempt was via the app at the time of application. My second attempt was also via the app once the account was open, but is scheduled to complete shortly, so assume it worked that time.

fullmonth (i.e. April wouldn't count, you would have to wait until May 1st and then make the deposit any time in May.This is correct.
With the £200 debit card spend it has to be done within 35 days of opening the account.
With the £5k deposit it needs to be done in the first full calendar month - in your case, May. Anything deposited in April will not count towards the £5k deposit.

Thanks for the clarification. I'll send it over a day or two into May then. 👍

Do you get any confirmation that you are eligible for the incentive once you meet the conditions? Or is it just a matter of patiently waiting for the payment hoping all went well?

Something to perhaps be aware of despite the switch conditions saying full calendar month is how Lloyds define their billing period:
"The monthly billing period for Club Lloyds accounts is from the second working day of a calendar month
to the first working day of the next."I'm going to wait until at least 5th May (Bank Holiday on 4th May).

No, it was just a case of waiting.

A calendar month is a calendar month, i.e. a month in the calendar. The billing cycle for Club Lloyds is on the second working day of the calendar month. It doesn't change what a calendar month is.
