They don't exclude it but is it worth the argument when Lloyds reject your switching bonus because you did? Keep life simple, transfer the money somewhere else first and then pay into the Lloyds account.

anyone received the £500 yet? My switch completed 30th March, nothing yet. I know it may be a while yet.

If all of the above conditions are met, the offer will be paid directly into your new account 45 to 90 days after opening your account, and will appear as a cash credit.

Yes, on 13/04 for a switch completed on 06/03.

It comes down to how Lloyds classify those payments. All I can give you is my opinion on these transactions, which isn't of any use to you if you're declined by Lloyds and need to appeal. If you want a definite answer you need to contact Lloyds.

Calendar month means different things in different contexts. Do they mean here that if you switch, say, on the 24th April, that the calendar month is 24th April to 24th May, or from 1st May to 1st June (i.e. a full month on the calendar)?

The terms state, "first full calendar month" so January, February, March and so on. In your example this would be May (01/05 to 31/05).
