Up until yesterday evening, the post below from Martin regarding the rules of this competitions subforum stated in section 2 that it's for posting free to enter competitions only. I pointed this out when I emailed the moderators last night. I've checked it again just now and that section has been crossed out, but no annotation or update date put alongside the amendment.
Coupled with the deletion of posts objecting to the cheating that's been going on, which directly contravenes Royal Mint's rules, and (at the time of most of the posts in this thread) also contravened this board's rules, this non-annotated, unannounced alteration to the forum rules indicate that something very fishy is going on here on this forum. If my post here is also deleted, that will have confirmed it.

Posts containing abuse will generally be deleted. Allegations of cheating may come under that category.

NONE of my posts contained abuse. Describing a behaviour that is clearly against the rules of a competition as cheating cannot by definition be described as abuse. It's just stating a fact.
As for altering the rules of a forum on the quiet after a member has pointed out multiple flagrant breaches of those rules (and had their posts deleted for doing so), well, I'll leave it up to someone else to define a term to describe that….

Bad Bad "question" strictly the answer to the question is 1, "you will have rolled your smaller coin around the larger coin once. Fortunately that is not an available answer!
The question should read how many times does coin "X" rotate while going round coin "Y"
But Archimedes mathematically gave the solution to this out about 2300 years to help others discover epicyclic gears the cheats
Intuition may not be the answer you want

Ah! That's weird. When I first looked at street view on GoogleMaps it seemed like some non-descript place at both locations. A different machine later, yes, ok, I see the Royal Mint experience center.

A fairly famous blunder from a 1982 SAT. They've managed to botch it in a different way with that wording.

I can’t move on in The final flame as I can’t print the QR code correctly I’ve printed it a few times straight from the link and I’ve tried saving it as a pdf and printing but I can’t align the printout with the overlay to create the corner boxes. Can anyone help please? I think I have the three words but not sure what to do with them so I’m hoping if I gain chess with the QR code all may become clearer???

Mine didn't align that great either but it still worked as a qr code. You can get something like a qr code 2 ways by flipping the transparent sheet over. Did you try both ways?
