There is an additional path to take that tells you what to do. A fun practical step you'd be sad to miss out on.

I wouldn’t have got this far without help, advice and clues from this forum - there are some very, very clever people out there. Thank you for being so generous .

As I said, coincidences, but not relevant. The clues gave you the direct key to use for the dials and coin orientation, but you could maybe consider your findings to be fun "easter eggs". I certainly did enjoy the 3 "easter eggs" within the medallion folder.

Obviously the Royal Mint doesn't point anyone to this forum (or any other) and the very fact that this information is available on the internet could get the whole competition voided for breaching the terms of the Gambling Act. (This thread is also against the terms of the forum too).

Thank you to everyone that have provided hints or outright answers.

I know I did provide answers myself, but just couldn’t think of a hint at the time.

There were some quests I was overthinking and with your help managed to complete the challenges.

Have entered the side quests also, hoping to win a copy of the puzzles book, but if not tempted to purchase it anyway.

I too was wondering that so had a Google.

I searched (In foreign tongue I’m to be mixed = tree)

This was the AI overview which makes sense

The answer to the riddle is Three. Here is the breakdown:

    • "In foreign tongue I’m to be mixed": Refers to the difficulty many non-native English speakers have pronouncing the "th" sound, often resulting in it being mixed up or replaced with a "t" sound.

Therefore, "Three" (number) becomes "Tree" (plant) when mixed up in a foreign tongue.

  • Regarding the third word

" to be" in a certain foreign language is an anagram of the word needed.

  • Even though there was so much hate for people who gave the answers, I am eternally grateful to them :) thank you very much, you did you civic duty 🥰
