Can Google Maps display the road speed limit?

Instead of Google Maps, or in addition to?

…so stick to 30 until you see a sign….

Followed one of them today.
30 limit to 40, then to NSL then back to 30 & back to NSL. 30 all the way. As soon as you get a clear bit of road so you can overtake. They put their foot down 😡

Surely there have to be terminal signs when you pass from one limit to another?
And if the limit is different from that on the side road, there has to be a terminal sign as you join the B3233 doesn't there?

Waze is owned by Google. I use Waze all the time, ever since getting a ticket on a stretch of country road with fields on each side, that had a 30 sign back around a mile! It's the A19 Barlby Road into Selby from the east. It is one of the most lucrative speed camera locations in North Yorkshire, no wonder they won't install reminder signs.

Of course.
And on that stretch I rarely go close to 40 even when 'permitted'.
What does that have to do with my wish to have the speed limits displayed?

No 'terminal' signs, except at the end when it becomes NSL for a few hundred yards before then back to 30 for Instow.
The '30' and '40' signs indicate the points of change the rest of the way. Our main car displays the speed limits on the dash, and is very consistent with what's on the ground.
Just looking for summat similar for the wee car too.
As from exiting from a side road (mostly residential, so '30' at most) on to a '40' section, I really don't know - I'll try and check.

Show me…
If you join from a side road, and there are no limit change signs, then the limit you join is the same as the one in the side road.
Or, to turn that around, if there's a limit change, there's signage.
Go past a side road - is there a 30 sign turning in? Then you aren't in a 30.2 -
Can I cite you when I turn into a residential road on two wheels?
Just checked on Google maps coming out from Fremmington Quay - 15mph - and, yes, there's a wee '40' sign under the give-way at the main road.

Just wait until this comes to a town near you! YOU WON'T KNOW and will have to be extra careful.
