    Another NSD today!

    Savings goal by 31/12/24: £22000
    Dec 23: £6945.23
  • I’ve had a couple of spendy days but pleased to take advantage of points, offers, Cashback etc.

Essential spends on petrol and train fare for work.

I had a free chocolate tiffin from Costa — but inevitably paid for the drink that went with it.

I used £23 Boots points and cleared them out. Went £4 over.

I spent £11 on a B&M voucher that I’d got through Top Cashback ages ago.

Yesterday I bought fish and chips, my first this year and my last for ages. They were lovely.

Saved myself about £35 on a spa day through Top Cashback and Wowcher, after my partner transferred an amount to book one as my birthday present.

Got some packets of sweets for free at work and a free hand cream sample and hand treatment with salt crystals at the railway station. Very random but enjoyable.

I feel like I’ve got this out of my system now and can get back to not parting with cash or card payments!

@Thriftymissus - Thanks for sharing as you've jogged my memory to use my loyalty points when shopping tomorrow. I've got loads of Boots, Superdrug, Sainsbury & Tesco points & an Amazon gift card to use, so it may end up being a NSD 😉😁😅😂😎. I will have to go through all my Apps tonight and see what points & bonuses I have and make a NSD shopping plan for tomorrow 😛🤑

I had an unexpected NSD yesterday. I went to see a show in the local theatre, my mother had bought my ticket as a birthday present. We had a drink before and after which she insisted on buying to contribute to the birthday gift, which was very kind and unexpected. Also no plans to spend today, it’s the day before payday, so no further explanation needed! So that’s another 2 notched up!

Find a little bit of joy in every day.
