Just requested maturity for one of my reg 4 accounts - asked to close account - see no reason now to try for another regular saver (already have issue 5) which would just mean more work and more paperwork for Principality

Principality 6mo issues1 to 4

For those that are better at record keeping that I am - could someone please let me know when was each launched and how long each lasted for please? Thank you in advance!

Issue 1 20th ish June 2024, lasted until about a week into December, so a week or so short of 6 months. Issue 2 was then withdrawn mid March as I recall, so roughly 3 months before being replaced with Issue 3 at a reduced rate. Then Issue 4 was 28th August, so a few weeks short of 6 months (as was also the case with Issue 4 to 5.)

This is from memory rather than records but they run to a few weeks short of 6 months unless they withdraw earlier for a rate cut.

That clarification on 'Account Month' vs calendar month is super helpful. It’s easy to mess up the timing on those first deposits if you aren't careful about the exact opening date. Thanks for keeping the timeline spreadsheet updated too!

I didn't note how long they lasted for, I always grab them on the day they become available.

4 was definitely 28/8/25, discussion on the old thread at p538 and surrounding pages. I opened Issue 4 on launch day and as I haven't refreshed it, it is still open and matures on the 28th. The links tend to be discovered around a week before the accounts go live which may be where the 21/8/25 date came from.
