Ford Money Step Up Saver New Deposit Information Problems?

If you have a Ford Money Step Up Saver, have you had any problems amending a payee or setting up a new payee or standing order for the new deposit information below that Ford Money have notified is effective from 19/02/2026?

What’s changing
• Our Account Type (if asked): Personal [not Business]
• Payee/Beneficiary: Your full name

What’s staying the same
• Account Number: 63604551
• Our Sort Code: 20-32-53
• Payment Reference: Your 7-digit Ford Money account number

Confirmation of payee takes time to fully establish. You might wish to try including any middle names too.

You may or may not be able to bypass the COP failed warning depending on your bank.

I tried to create a new payee yesterday with those details and COP failed, also tried various combinations of using only the first character from my name, and tried including my middle name, COP still failed, Ford Money seem to have managed to mess something up.
