  • Tipton - similarly I've got the App and Postal Sat with a couple of months deposits in.

Not sure this relaunch is for me (I opened the Postal one by post)

    Good luck others.

PRINCIPALITY BS Regular Savers Issue 39 will be 4.85%

I am not sure whether this has been answered already (I am up to p665) I have not got the rate for the new Christmas RS.

As per my early post on p665. over the phone my RS issue 38 was renewed and retain £250 of current balance, on the 14/10/26 it will be auto renew. It will keep the existing SO details and the new RS ISSUE 39 remaining balance should be cleared on 14/10/26 lunch time in my external bank account.

    PRINCIPALITY BS
Principality BS 1 Year Regular Saver Bond (Issue 39) was launched on 2-July as detailed on page 1 of this thread.
Maybe Issue 40 (and a new Christmas Saver) will be launched tomorrow as Thursdays are Principality's favoured launch days.
They'll have to do better than 4.85% fixed though (especially with the likely BOE interest rate rise in 3 weeks time).

Feels like October has been a boring month for new regular savers:( every month since I’ve started with regular savers, there have been exciting new ones popping up each and every month and that makes me excited too!

Cambridge Extra Reward RS Maturity Instructions

Just logged on via the app (hadn't been notified as my maturity is a couple of weeks time).

But nice to see a 6% Cambridge Extra Reward Issue 2 and also a 5% Reward Regular Saver Issue 3 as options.

Will also mean no changes to standing orders!

And One year of membership for the 5% Reward Regular Saver.
To join I opened an EA account, but I think the minimum deposit was £100. So, if this is still the case, it will involve having the £100 in a low interest paying account for at least a year. Once the RS is opened, the £100 can the withdrawn / used in the RS and the EA account potentially closed.
Also, for reasons I can't exactly recall, I opened the 5% Reward Regular Saver over the phone. The CS were very helpful and the process was straight forward.

You can only open Cambridge regular savers over the phone or by post. They can take a debit card payment over the phone although in my experience the system didn't work. If funding by faster payment wait 48 hours from opening for your account details to be recognised.

    Cambridge BS RS

I opened mine by post in 2023, having become a member in 2020. I had one Reward version from 2021-22, but it wasn't worth getting another in the interim. Have renewed the Extra Reward via maturity options since then.

Worth noting that the RS cannot be funded directly by card, so for me it is worth keeping £100 in the EA for that. Having converted to Your Saver the rate isn't as terrible as it once was.
