Monmouthshire RS
Yes I manage my issue 9 using web browser rather than App, I can't remember if I had to click the add account to make it appear.

Yes, same here. Had to do 'add account' more than once before the account appeared, although that may just be that I wasn't patient enough. It is (AIUI) a manual process in the back office to do the actual adding, so is never (in my experience) instant.
Issue 9 appears to be manageable online, but we'll only know for sure when people have tried doing more than viewing the account.
(being on page 666 do we need to wear a green shirt or anything when posting?)

IMO, This is certainly the best strategy. But if you have maxed out this 5% EAs, you will still need to look into easy access RSA paying 5%. Also consider that typically 5% EAs saving is variable so could change. If you do not take advantage of easy access RSA paying 5% while it is still on offer it might not be available when you need them. Yes easy access RSA is also typically variable but considering you have a few of them, the chance that the interest change at the same is much lower.
People on basic tax rate could save (assuming all saving are paying 5% interest) up to £20,000 to avoid paying tax on interest. This £20k limit might not be optimised if you do not take advantage of easy access RSA paying 5%. In reality it will be lower taking into consideration that you have RSA paying higher than 5%.

Chase regular saver question.
I've applied for a Chase account today and am asking if you can open their Regular Saver straight away, or do you need to use the debit card first?
Also, it being the 11th today, and potentially, the account may not be open (if they even accept me) until the 18th if they do seven days of check.
Would it be worth the risk and wait until the end of the month, then fund again on the 1st or open straight away case the RS is pulled?

Once the account is open you could add and manage it on the online banking.

IMHO there is little chance of it being pulled before the end of the month.
But I think you are overlooking the fact it operates on account months, so if you open and fully fund before the end of October, you will not be able to fund again on 1st November.

I wonder, will the Principality Christmas 2027 RS be on offer (published) and the interest rate is already known ??
1 -
Well it's not showing as a maturity option on the Xmas 26 RS or anywhere else on their site. Not sure where else they'd put the details - Twitter/X? Big billboard ad in downtown Cardiff?
2 -
The Principality Christmas 2026 RS looks like it launched on 23 October last year, so I would expect a 2027 version should become available within the next 2 weeks (if they are doing one)

Prople on low income tax bracket could have savings of over £100k @ 5% witjout having to pay tax, due to the savings starting rate.
