FYI @Bridlington1 two of the links to
The Top Regular Savers Discussion Threadin the monthly summary post go to the old thread rather than the current one :)(Also on p1 of this thread, Manchester BS RS Issue 1 is marked as being openable in branch & online, but it was changed at some point to being openable in branch only I believe)

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, in that case quite a few of the monthly updates will have incorrect links as they'll be error carried forwards, it seems I updated some but not others. I'll go through and update them now.

Suffolk BS, I had an online regular saver mature on EDIT 30th Sept and interest was added. On the EDIT 1st Oct the money, over 3,800, has been transferred to a "Online Maturity Holding Account" at only 1.6%AER. There are no options online that I can see to request a transfer. I did send a PM on the 2nd but not been answered yet.
It seems I missed the usual email or letter that reminds me to login and requested money be sent to my linked account at maturity (2 weeks before maturity date).
UPDATE: I phoned, they picked up straight away, and yes I seem to have missed logging in and setting my maturity instructions. All sorted over the phone very quickly, money should arrive tomorrow.

Think you're in a timewarp a month ahead of the rest of us.

I think (to avoid confusion) that the Suffolk online RS you are referring to matured on 30th September I had the same one and had entered maturity instructions in advance. I may be wrong, but I don't think Suffolk BS alert you to advise that maturity options are now available on line, you just have to check when you have a maturuty date coming up.

I had a spreadsheet error yesterday and found that a Principality Christmas had been removed from the list - £1950 and must have been removed during the Principality cull a couple of months back. But not as good as finding £5K.
But what worries me though is that I have a plastic folder and sometimes just a plastic sleeve with paperwork for each building society or bank. These I check once a month in some sort of methodical fashion whilst updating the spreadsheet. Some though I have no paperwork at all for so these just updated at the end when I realise a line is missing eg Buckingham so I need to print something off or get them to send me some paperwork so I can start a plastic sleeve - less likley to get missed then.

I did receive a reminder saying that my account was maturing and that I needed to login and provide instructions...

Or you could just write something on a piece of paper to put in your plastic sleeve until/in case you recieve no formal paperwork.

RS Spreadsheets:
I update my spreadsheet as and when I open/close a new regular saver, or if I'm away from my spreadsheet then I'll update it that night when I'm updating the RS lists for this thread. To my knowledge I haven't missed one off that tab.
The only errors tend to come from forecasting cashflow across months as I'll list the types of RSs and the combined amount, e.g. I have "6%+ (NWDs only)" listed for 1st November as that's the amount I'm expecting to pay into RSs that are strictly greater than 6% on 1st November, if I open new RSs throughout the month this figure may become out of date, though I double check my figures throughout the month anyway so it isn't usually an issue for long.
