RS meant to reset on 26th. Waiting to see the statement update to show this before i take out my £. Nothing yet. Maybe as it was a weekend. Anybody done this yet and started again for another yr?

CHASE
Many thanks @Kazza242 for bringing this to our attention. Opened and funded. Whilst it would have been good to wait until 1st of month, taking no chances as think this will be very popular. So easy to open if you already have a Chase account, no ID checks, opens and funded in seconds.1 -
Opened, won’t be funded until I’m at home later to pull funds from somewhere else. Opened today as 28th February makes 28th it easy enough to remember as a monthversary for me.
Very surprised to see it before 9/9:30am, woke up in at about 4ish and saw the thread so updated the app and checked then, but it wasn’t there.

Chase RS
I really didn’t want any more Regular Savers but wasn’t going to turn this one down. Thanks to the OP. Probably the easiest and quickest account opening process possible (providing you already have a Chase account). I wasn’t bothering with their Cashback any more, with Chase pretty much redundant to me, but guessing once the RS balance hits £1,000 it will start to mean qualification for the debit card spending and 2% cashback on certain things?

Re new Chase account, can you open today and fund on the 1st? Or if not open and fund today then next fund 1st November? I just want to keep all my payments on 1st of month

the account starts on the opening day, and matures 12 months later.
up to you when you open and fund it, subject to account still being available0 -
Good point about the £1k savings needed to qualify for cashback. Funding the RS straight from the £1k currently sitting earning 2.25% would have been the smart move.

Yes, you can do either of the two options you have described.

When setting up a Chase Standing Order to feed the Chase RS, remember that Chase are processing SOs 7 days a week.
If you feed your respective Chase account by SO from another bank, you might not have enough money in the respective Chase account when Chase wants to feed the RS as most other banks only process them on working days. You can
- set up the SO from the external account to arrive a few days before it is needed, or
- correct failed SOs as and when they happen, or
- make your Chase RS deposits manually, ideally on each monthiversary
I have opted for manual deposits, seems the simplest for me.
