Wasn't there one account where the estimated balance ("for guidance only") was about 10x the total amount deposited?

The previous posters assertion (not yours wmb) is simply wrong - off the bat I can think of Notts / Beehive and Monmouth too who allowed this too.
Financial institutions and their products are heavily regulated for a reason.
Being a member of a small society does give me a warm fuzzy feeling. This is augmented if they are fully competent.
Anyone remember the TV program years ago, when Bank of Dave was attempted to be started?

Anyone remember the TV program years ago, when Bank of Dave was attempted to be started?
I do remember him 🤣. He has been quietly trading in something or other for the last 15 years, nothing like what he had in mind originally but has done recently well for himself, and actually resurfaced in the news just very recently when he was awarded an OBE for his services to business and charity.
Way off topic for this thread though.

The Bank of Dave has been trading successfully for the last decade and a half. it is actually called Burnley Savings and Loans:
It doesn't do a regular saver though. ☹

Progressive Building Society - log in issue workaround
Morning all - in case needed, when I input my log in details including the whatsapp code I ALWAYS get taken to "invalid page".
If I then open up a new tab and google Progressive Building Society, click on it through there and then click "log in" it takes me to my own, logged in accounts (without needing to log in again)

pity they did not proof read , could you put 2500 in?
What would the estimated balance be after the 12-month term based on a deposit of £200 per month? £2,491.79
This example assumes that the account is opened with an initial deposit of 2500 and 11 monthly lodgements of £200 at the start of each subsequent month, which is the maximum monthly amount allowed.
This example also assumes the the interest rate does not vary during the 12-month period.0 -
Think your maths is off there……£200 pcm with opening deposit of £200 delivers between £84 and £90ish interest so about right.
