Santander auto transfers to their RS @8% from the CA do not take place at the weekend. So in that way they are similar to SO`s.

Do these "auto transfer" instructions appear anywhere online/app? Are they shown as standing orders?

Tembo
Did anyone manage to get a DD setup for today and if so, is it showing as pending or actually accepted? I did it via the open banking route and looks like it will be the same as last time and pending for 2 days :(

The DD I reported seeing set up a couple of days ago (and apparently credited(!) then, according to Tembo) has been taken from one of my CAs today.

My Tembo DD was collected from my current account today as expected.
Tembo app has an entry dated 29 October, stating "Pending Monthly collection. Processed within 2 working days"
Account balance shows £500 though (Oct & Nov)

So they went in the end. All very strange though because at no point has my current account been anywhere near as low as £400 since about 11pm last night.

FIRST DIRECT QUESTION.
My FD regular saver had its last payment on the 30th of October fully funded. So l assume l will have access to the funds and interest on the 30th of this month?
If l want to open another one straight away, then the first payment would be taken on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd? So would that mean my regular payments could fall on the tailend of December like the current one?

The Standing Order will be on the same day each month (or next working day). So if your first payment is 3rd December, your next one would be 4th January (as 3rd is a Sunday)
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1 -
If you reapply early in the maturity process - when the account first disappears from view - then you could potentially have your new account on 1st December and payments on the 1st of each month. Though you might slip a day or two further.

@surreysaver @masonic, thanks to you both.
It just bothered me when l opened this current RS on the 1st Dec 2025. That the rest of the payments landed on the 30th of the months or the next working day. I just don't like late dated standing orders.
