I believe so, by setting up a Direct Debit. But it would mean not getting the maximum possible interest as you would have to wait for the mandate to be set up before the first payment could be taken (although future payments can be set to go on the 1st/1st working day from the drop down when setting up the DD.)

I was wondering the same thing. I've withdrawn the £100 or so I had in the account and left it open with £1

Furness
While waiting to receive my West Brom funds, I decided to send £10 to my 160th Anniversary RS, so that less would be in limbo if they rejected the payment. That £10 has now been credited so it must be a yes to the 11th/13th payment unless an account were to come along that specifically excludes it.

Re: Furness - if it helps, I put another £160 in as normal on Sunday and it was credited today - so there is £1,760 in there now until maturity later this month.

Hinckley & Rugby
I have messaged them regarding the missing interest on my Christmas Saver which matured two days ago. They have advised they pay interest on 1st December, as that is the end of their financial year! Obviously maturity means something different in Warwickshire than it does in the rest of the country.
Might be worth bearing in mind for those who have opened their Issue 3 Regular Saver last week...

Interesting….. (I'll get my coat). Does that mean we'll get some interest this year which will start compounding?

Did you query whether interest is paid up to then. It might be you cannot add more funds but get the chance for extra interest at the full balance. Though if you've already withdrawn the principal then guess it's not as important.

I left a £ in there to keep a foot in the door with them. Withdraw the rest (all £100 of it, as it was only paying 4.9%). I presume if I'd closed it they'd have paid the interest - who knows?

Maybe the issue 3 regular savers will also be credited with a small amount of interest in this December. I suppose we don't have long to wait to find out.
