I applied for the NLA 125 anniversary account (as an existing customer) via email and had no digital response whatsoever, but after a week or so a letter arrived in the post with a little hand-written note asking for a wet signature

Progressive
Word of warning - their last product left me very underwhelmed.
Ive got close to 100 RS but this in an institution I'll be giving a huge swerve to.
Their impenetrable login is beyond frustrating.
Brace yourselves for feedback on this, on this thread, on Monday.

Tipton branch RS.
I applied by email on the 8th and received my account number in the post today. No other contact, no email or call which I was expecting. So I'd say there's a fair chance your letter's in the post.

Perfectly happy with my ProgBS 4.6% cash ISA, 6.75% RS and sensibly secure login procedure.
I'll report back on Monday after my new RS has taken 5 minutes to set up.

If you close a Nationwide flex regular saver early how long must you wait before they allow you to open another?
I know if it naturally matures the wait is at least 1 day, but I do not know if this time frame also applies to an account you closed before maturity.I will be doing this since my account matures on the 30th and I want to close a few days early to get in an extra payment on my next regular account with them.
Thank you.

Agree 100%.
I've got 55 RS's over multiple institutions, and been playing the RS game for over 10 years.
Tried to open an RS online with Progressive a while back. Obstacles and obstacles. Gave up. It takes a lot to deter me.
Tried to open a Progressive instant access account this afternoon to give me a good start on Monday. Again, I have given up. I'm obviously not progressive enough for Progressive. They don't like me.
Oh well, you can't have fans everywhere.

Tipton - I emailed both of our forms very late on Tuesday, just gone 5 but I've had no response as yet in response, by email, message or letter. I am expecting a rejection as it said in the message I had yesterday regarding the app based version "only one Save and Grow allowed"
Monday night I applied for the app based version and that went live late Thursday. Today I had a letter from them but oddly it has a user code to register for the app - I already have the app. Also I sent payment by bank transfer on Tuesday morning but its still not showing. I've sent a message via the website this afternoon regarding this and also re the user code.
Progressive - deleted from the calendar already, life is too complicated enough as it is
Principality - I have a six month saver maturing on the 13th so I've waited until the last moment to put in maturity instructions in the hope that there would be a regular saver issue 40 with a vastly improved rate but sadly its not happened so another account closes.

If you fire up the app you'll find that the first thing it needs is that code you've been sent.
The app will do nothing else until that's done.

Progessive BS
MoneyFacts has it named as "Online 1 Year Monthly Saver Account", so seems to be different to Rainy Day, i.e. can have both open

And if not, Issue 4 will have only 3 weeks left to run by then if opened at launch, so it would hopefully be selectable as a maturity option.
Any longstanding Progressive customers got any maturity advice? Do they allow selecting options in advance? Should we expect anything by post/email?
