For those wandering about maturity instructions. I had an email on the 18th for the account maturing on the 31st August. I requested that the proceeds be transferred to my existing nominated account. On the 20th I was sent a second email saying there was a secure message waiting. On logging in and viewing the message it states the following in the account closure message.
Please click on 'Move Money' and choose the option ‘Withdraw to your
nominated account' when your account has matured as we cannot accept
requests by email/secure message.1 -
So the consensus is ignore the Darlington email and do as you please when it matures then?

I had two to mature tomorrow and requested an early closure today which has landed in my nominated account in the last two hours.
Both have close to £500 interest but here's the weird thing 20p apart even though they were opened (one erroneously) on the same day.
They were also a £1 or so less than yours @DodgerPot
All good though 👍

Darlington.
You can withdraw the full balance and close the RS from their online banking.
I closed mine this morning and received the £3k plus interest into my nominated account this afternoon.

In the email regarding maturity, you need to click the Maturities FAQs and 'Maturity Easy Access' account details box.
Then click:- If you have a maturing Investment Account (non-ISA), please let us know what you’d like to do with your money by clicking here. and complete the details,

A little worryingly, followed that link and submitted maturity instructions to Darlington (which were accepted) without logging into the site.
So maybe that's alright then?

Did you have 2 of the same products maturing ?

Yes

The link posted by @chris_the_bee contains a string of gibberish that perhaps identifies the specific account, so I wouldn't use that link if you want to provide maturity instructions for your own account.
Edit: Ignore the above, I see this goes to a form where you provide account details

Too late, hopefully it's just defaulted to a blank form but maybe I've just directed @chris_the_bee's funds to my own account?
Or maybe it's done nothing.
In any case, the site shouldn't allow instructions to be (seemingly) accepted from a non-secured session.
