I'm sure it's relatively easy to post a link to a spoofed website too

RE: Manchester regular saver issue 2

Did anyone else get the following automated message? I thought the max deposit per calendar month was £250 🤔

I'm pleased to confirm that we have received the money you recently transferred to your Regular Saver account.

You can make unlimited deposits up to £500, each calendar month...

That wouldn't hide the IP address, which is how they detect if you connect from abroad. A VPN might be the answer, unless they prevent access from VPNs (like, for instance, Coventry Building Society do).

When I submitted an application to ESBS earlier today their website reserved the right to take 3 days to tell me where to put the money. All account details followed by e-mail within 1 hour. Yes, in 12 months their systems might be buried by redemptions, but so far I am assured that this small BS has opened accounts quickly.

The link for Newcastle regular saver 1 is still live but has anyone done a refresh today and ave they completed the process - closed their ongoing one and then immediately reopened a new Newcastle regular saver 1 ?

My instant access is 4.5% so even Newcastles 5.10% - the proceeeds from clsoinclosing the ongoing Newcastle would be redistributed to the September SOs for regular savers …

That's good. Mine was submitted three hours ago but no account details from them yet.

ESBS have declined to open an Online Monthly Saver for me, as I already have the Passbook version. I asked them whether the T&Cs are correct or not, as they state you can only have one Online Monthly Saver, which I haven't got (yet)

Yes, downloaded VPN app and application was accepted. Registered for online access, now waiting for the account to be opened. Thank you all for your help!

NCL BS RS Issue 1 and MCR BS RS Issue 1 Refresh

Successfully did both of these refreshes today.

NCL : Closed existing; logged out. Used application URL as a 'new' customer but used all same details as used previously. New application accepted, received emails and secure message. Logged back in and new Issue 1 there. Sent £200 from nominated, CoP check passed. Appears all good. Note: you cannot apply for new Issue 1 by being logged in, so be super careful to enter the same details you did previously. If you don't you may get another profile and/or the application scrutinised further / maybe declined.

MCR : Closed existing, applied for new Issue 1 whilst still logged in; application accepted, received email stating this, but new Issue 1 did not appear, even after logging out then back in. After about 20 mins, received email stating new secure message received. Logged back in, and new Issue 1 is there. Sent £500 from nominated, CoP check passed. Appears all good.
