ESBS also appears to require a payment of at least £1 per month (‘How do I open and manage my account?’ and ‘Additional information’ headers.) Doesn’t say what happens if you don’t though.

They've updated the T&Cs since I downloaded them, then, as that's not what it says in the copy I downloaded

EDIT they confirm to me in a message they've updated the T& Cs to confirm you can only have one or other 😂

That's interesting. I applied using the link, and, like you did, put in all the exact same details as per original application, and yet for some reason NCL created an entirely new ID etc for me, which I had to use.

In that case you've grounds to complain I think, reminds me of the Saffron Refer A Friend RS in that regard.

Maybe they only used to have one RS and now that they have introduced the online version, they have had to amend the terms, in which case there would be no grounds for complaint

If you've now got two profiles Newcastle will be in touch sometime telling you that isn't allowed and they need to merge the profiles. If there was a difference in the information they might ask for proof of whatever it is, as part of the merging process. You used the same nominated account each time?
