Manchester RS.
I didn't apply until after 6pm. I got the funding information and the notice that the account would be up within 2 days.
It's still not there.
Those of you who have funded already, were your accounts visible before funding?

Yes it was

No, it then appeared a few minutes after funding, but still at nil balance.
I could messages (via online) from MBS and NBS shortly after the application, which contained the funding/account details.

I have a very old RS with Ecology (NLA). £10 minimum balance, no compulsory deposits, no end date, pays 3%, 🙂. They always had an account with low commitment to keep the membership. Just see what's available when your RS is closer to maturity, no need to think about it now, it might all change in 12 months time.

Sounds like the same account I've got. Used to be £25 minimum balance (and I think £25pm minimum deposit?). Used to accept deposit by direct debit, which was handy for whichever account the direct debit went from
But I've kept it open to maintain membership
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
It was showing in the app soon after "receipt of application" email, otherwise I wouldn't have known the ref account number. Email with account number will probably come later.

Yep. Exactly the same account. Opened it for DD, kept it going for a few years (despite later there were better alternatives), and when they scrapped DD I decided to keep the account with £10. I didn't stay with Ecology for speculative reasons, I just like their ethos and want to be part of it (even if it is a very small part).

In your query in no.3, it's the reopening of a Regular Saver before the anniversary of the closed one that is against their terms and conditions.
In 2, my experience was that the bot didn't direct me to Human CS, it gave me precise instructions how to close it myself (which I didn't, of course). So how do you get around that?

Manchester BS RS issue 2
It appears that the issue 2 account can either be opened online by those who already have online access, or in branch. Not available online if you do not already have an account.
Ah well, open an issue 1 today, and issue 2 later.1 -
Newcastle RS1 was reported to be NLA 5 hours ago so I'd be surprised if Manchester's is still on offer (one owns the other).
