My RS is due to end soon. Does the £ go to a pot, and then does another RS become available for me to apply for (a six month one this time)?

Hiya I've just successfully opened BOS, Halifax & Club Lloyds Monthly's on each branded app

Yes and yes.

Usual drill:
Leeds BS Regular Saver (Issue 79) at 4.45% NLA, replaced by Issue 80 at the same rate but with a maturity date of 31/7/28.

Monmouthshire
Do Monmouthshire allow a 13th payment? Looks like they don’t, but has anyone tried it?0 -
If there are any exciting new accounts they'll be on the "no chat" thread anyway, so you won't miss anything too important

No, I accidently sent over a 13th payment on the 1st of this month for the issue 8 one, it was returned the next day. I am not doing it tomorrow for my other Monmouthshire accounts

They do but not if it will put the balance over the max allowed. I made 13 payments but had withdrawn more than one months max deposit earlier in the year.

Monmouthshire RS8 maturity
My Regular Saver 8 matures today - the app shows it (with interest) now as an EA account; online banking still shows the £6k balance and that it's a regular saver.
However the app still isn't letting me open a new issue. I suspect this is because of a dormant RS8 that was opened due to glitch/errors when opening the maturing account (the application resulted in two accounts, but I only received information about the first, and by the time I'd found the second account in the app it was too late to fund it). So have had to request they close that account, even though it doesn't appear on the online banking….fingers crossed I can manage to get a new copy of the RS8 opened and funded today, but I doubt it!

Fair point. I guess sometimes there are weird quirks and loopholes that generate a comment and replies too though (sometimes including stuff that is off thread that has proved useful)
