I believe some people got invited to try a Principality app but I haven't so it's probably classed as beta (so a test version & possibly very buggy) so therefore not a full public release

You shouldn't need to wait, you can view all your accounts in any of the 3 apps by default, you can also get help in any of the 3 apps, the only thing you can't do for example is apply for a Halifax account in Lloyds or Bank Of Scotland app, you must use the correct app to apply for a certain brand account.
Obviously days are limited for applying for any Halifax branded accounts but yea.

Ahh I'm fine to do it Friday, I already mentioned about habit in regards to 1st of the month, general rule of thumb is to open and fund a regular saver at end of month then again the start of every month going forward to maximise interest gain

Halifax
That wasn't my 'objection'. It was your claim "The terms and conditions are irrelevant", which is wrong.
Several people spoke to customer services and were told there was some kind of glitch in the application process which blocked new customers, and they didn't expect the issue to be sorted before the end of the month.
And we haven't got to the end of the month yet.
Meanwhile the Summary Box for the Halifax 8% regular saver still says "New customers open online only". Which was the point I was making - if Halifax have decided not to accept new customers then the Summary Box should be corrected. This is a fact, and not a 'prediction'.

I take your point but I'm just trying to keep this thread on the subject of Top Regular Savers, their operation and practice.
If people want to lament the loss of a once-great brand or wonder why-oh-why a huge bank can reach such mystifying decisions then please let's take them to their own thread where people can speculate to their heart's content.

Hey Kev (& others) I run a thread you might be interested in, it's a thread that deals with companies without/with savings apps

I didn't want to start a brand new thread just for a few general points/observations etc, maybe if I suddenly started noticing a lot more I would

Check your browser security. I recall having to use my firefox profile with all security turned off to get the chat icon in the lower right corner. Also I think it is time dependent; Chat's not there in the very early hours of the morning…

I am using Android Firefox but the option itself isn't in the list they claim it's on…

I have realised that when I spend a period away from the feed and am confronted by 10 or 20 pages of new posts the best thing to do is to start with the most recent and after 5 or so pages back I decide anything important to me in all probability I'd have been alerted to by a reply. No sure if this is wise but I often have loads to do by the nature of such times.
