Another of the great mysteries of the Lloyds banking group. 😂 I didn't have Lloyds, just BoS and Halifax, so perhaps that was the reason for me, or maybe my Scottish address?

Think I had the same email. I got the impression I should wait for the invite before migrating from Halifax to the Lloyds app? Also, do you have a Lloyds current account?

Well you could open on Friday, but I like to not leave things to the last minute, and I don' t think weekend payments are actioned until Monday, but I could be wrong about that.

…and it's working? Is it for savings business, lending or both?

To allow for Easter falling at the end of the month, February ending on a weekend, and anything else that might delay a standing order into the next month. I've never seen anyone say a payment after the 25th got bounced or otherwise disqualified.

they do, but it's currently in beta with a relatively small number of testers - they intend to launch it before the end of the year.

Works OK ... looks and feels exactly like the website ... UID and p/word, followed by OTP code to mobile. Usual Principality when your are logged in ... maturity instructions etc etc. There is a mention in another thread "Companies without Savings Apps"

It wasn't an email, was in my Halifax online inbox today, and no suggestion of waiting for an invite (already had something like that in email). No, I don't have a Lloyds current account or anything else with them until today when I opened the monthly saver. I registered with them using Halifax current account details. Everything now for Halifax and BoS now in Lloyds online and app.
I was trying to paste the message on here, but it was about 3 miles long and would have required lots of editing, and I haven't the will, sorry.1 -
Banking Apps
Checked Google play after reading about Principality app - obviously nothing there but I did notice Progressive have one which I didn't know about - installed and working

OK, so same as before for Lloyds.
I've just spent a ridiculous amount of time on the Bank of Scotland mobile site, then the desktop version, looking for a link to Chat. There's no sign of it, not even in Help or Contact Us. The nearest I got was a link to an external page, which had a video telling me how to get it on the app. I can't have the app because my phone is too old…
