Still hold an account, but over 100 miles away is the killer. It’s variable rate so no certainty as to the return to weigh up against the cost of travel.

I am creating space in my diary as I type...
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
How about a completed application form posted to a branch!

Just re downloaded the Tipton app, logged in and read the messages sent back then in 2024 when I seemed to be young and foolish - it seems my regular saver matured into an easy saver. I then had a 60 day notice account but at some point I gave up all hope ….
Thats the 3rd I missed now - Teachers we were away, Beverley I dithered too long and now Tipton I didnt leave an easy access open … all rooky mistakes ….

Monmouthshire
Can someone remind me of the need to change your nominated account for Monmouthshire withdrawals. I remember seeing it this last week but there's been so many posts recently. Was there a problem?
Cheers

Monmouthshire BS:
There shouldn't be any real reason to update your nominated account as such if you've already set one up.
In my case I updated my nominated account as I'm having to pull a deposit into one account ahead of a property purchase and wanted to cut down on the amount of statements I have to compile.
I've just logged onto the app though and it's still showing as having no nominated account so it would seem that if you update your nominated account in online banking it doesn't automatically pull through to the app so you'd need to set it up in there too if you wanted to withdraw by app as well as online banking.

Shame that Kent Reliance, Market Harborough BS and Tipton & Coseley BS don't have branches nice and close to each other - could club together for an MSE Regular Saver minibus tour? 😁
