Never tried on a weekend but pretty certain nothing would happen and they aren’t the quickest at the best of times. I would certainly hold off until Monday.

The last time I tried it, it wasn't processed until the next working day

Tipton & Coseley BS 125 Anniversary Regular Saver to 31 July 2027 at 7% have updated their eligibility requirements.
Previously the account was available for those with a B, DY, WS or WV postcode only.
Now it is available for those with a B, DY, WS or WV postcode and members who hold a savings account with them that was opened on or before 31 December 2025.
Still branch opening only though.

There won't be many non locals still holding an account with them.
Even fewer who are prepared to travel to open the account.

The Google calendar confusingly says I closed my Tipton either July 2024 or October 31st 2024 …. which is a pity. I've looked at the map and there seems to be a branch at Codsall which is about 50 mins for us … so a nice day trip with a visit to Cosford air museum and a pub lunch on the way back …. sadly not to be

Tipton & Coseley BS 125 Anniversary Regular Saver to 31 July 2027
After waiting for another decent saver open to me to come up, I ended up closing my account with them only a few months ago. Ah well…

Which is why I always keep an account open with an organisation after their useful accounts have matured.
I haven't opened the Dudley Loyalty Regular Saver yet, so can do both in one trip
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1 -
My new regular saver interest minimum is 8% so unfortunately they don't quite meet my criteria.

You'd be surprised
I have a legacy instant access which morphed from a previous decent RS
Thanks Brid - BTW I've been following your house move with interest (see what I did there). I don't think our solicitor will forget the ring binder full of statements from RS and associated C/As for proof of funds so I feel your pain.
Come to think of it they still have the actual ring binder!
Genuinely good luck
