You could be right in that and would not surprise me, its whether you actually have an online version of the account though that you are using 1008 for. Both the regular & loyalty saver are passbook versions and the festive one came in two versions, online (that did not last long from memory) and the passbook version. You may have passbook for all 3.

I opened the House Deposit Saver with them earlier this year, account term is 10 years so allows me to transfer out my ISA at maturity without worrying about whether or not I have an active Regular Saver at the time.

Have you funded both? I have just to see what happens…… Fingers crossed they leave alone. It would be great if they do.

I would hang on to both, and fund then both, until they tell me that they will close one 😎

I didn't have the 5% one and just opened normally the 8% one on launch day. Just tried to open a second one in the app and it told me "Good news, you already have one".

    Buckinghamshire

NatWest fraud Police blocked my payment to Bucks, again. Another hour and a half of my life down the drain. Explained that they blocked it last month as well, but to absolutely no effect. Also asked "if it passed COP, surely that is OK?" but to no avail.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Thank you so much for that - was just about to do the same with my Monmouthshire BS Regular Saver that matures towards the end of July 2026. It's fully funded with £6,000.00 and although I know T&Cs state that's the maximum balance I was willing to chance it to see what happens as quite a few banks/building societies don't enforce their maximum balance rules.

I understand in the past Monmouthshire BS did not stipulate a maximum balance yet returned 13th payments nonetheless. I believe people had to complain and they ended up accepting 13th payments at the time. Looks like they now make sure to put it in their T&Cs and enforce it.
