On the subject of maturing accounts don't do what I did and ignore the maturity instructions. Let's just say it turned into a bit of a faff.
Cheers

I have a general rule never to close the last account I have with any group even if that means openig a dummy easy access account left dormant,
This means opening new accounts thereafter is far easier than if you are a returning customer meaning your profile either has to be reactivated by the group or a new one created all of which is time and aggro' consuming.

Suffolk building society.
My regular saver is due to mature beginning of August. Does SBS send out postal application forms if you request one?
All their online accounts seem to be non-easy access.
It will be a shame if on maturity my membership will end.

Mine has also appeared now in online banking. I have different Dudley account details saved - one ending 1008 and one ending 1016. I think the latter is for online only accounts, so I assume it needs to go to the 1008 details plus my unique ref?

Even for those with other accounts, the matured/closed account doesn't show online once it disappears at maturity. I'm hoping that they will send me a paper statement for the closed account showing the interest added at maturity. Although I have ensured that the closing interest (calculated by subtracting the amount deposited from the maturity proceeds paid out) has been entered in my own record of interest paid in tax year 26/27, I like to have something I can refer to in case my interest total entered at SA is ever challenged.

I was thinking the same - have just checked both for CoP and neither passed, so i'll try the 1008 account again tomorrow.

I have two Principality 6 month regular savers - issues 4 & 5 - coming up to maturity, and for the first time in quite a long while, it doesn't appear that I will be opening replacements. Their regular saver offerings seem to have gone through the floor since those were opened!

I had the same experience, 5% was the best on offer.

I closed ALL of my regular savers but just couldn't resist the Santander 8% offer. So I don't get tempted further I'm gonna set my minimum to 8%......that should ensure that I don't open many more. 😁
