Buckinghamshire/BS Regular Saver — NatWest/RBS FailMine didn't go through … again.

Same here. So I hit the feedback button and commented on the confusing message.

Odd isn't it. Some new-fangled TechFin based out of Uzbekistan you might expect the algorithms to take an interest but payments to a BS established 120 years ago via Barclays (est.1896). Something's upset them.
My FP from RBS worked just fine (after the blocks of last month).

MONBS RS8
There is no problem making a 13th payment per se.
As I withdrew some funds several months ago, my 13th payment of £500 on 1st July did not take balance above £6k so is within T&C. As was yours.1 -
Does anyone know if they've changed banking provider or something, which might explain it upsetting them for a time.
Annoying they can't deal with this in branches - then the Bucks account could be logged into in their presence to prove it is not dodgy. Why they can't give clearance for 11 or 12 x £250 once assured that the first is OK is beyond me. Are Standing Orders still getting blocked or is it just FPs?

Buckinghamshire BS / NatWest/RBS/Ulster Fraud Check IssuesIt seems bizarre how their fraud systems are repeatedly being triggered by a harmless Building Society. I didn't have any problems sending payments from Nationwide.
I wonder if it has something to do with the word "Bucks" being a slang term for dollars. Their algorithms may be picking it up as some sort of "Fast Bucks" get rich quick, dodgy investment scheme.
It still doesn't explain why their fraud teams can't just make a simple check to establish this isn't the case. If it happened to me I would be making a complaint, especially if they refused to authorise the payment (as happened to @Bridlington1 ).

On a human level, Bucks has a board of directors - at least some of these people will have a channel to the higher reaches of NatWest Group (and maybe the regulators) - it's how The City works. They should be having a word.

It's possible that the people at Bucks don't know of the problem and that savers affected could perhaps usefully let Bucks know what is going on.
Bucks is a very small organisation. They only have one office, so getting the information (that there is a problem making payments from RBS/NatWest to some Bucks savings accounts) to the right level within Bucks should be easier than in much larger institutions.

I have written to Buckinghamshire BS to make them aware of my experience and that others have had similar issues with NatWest/RBS/Ulster Bank.

I can see that after applying, the new Dudley's Loyalty Regular Saver Issue 3 has appeared in my accounts having already had the Dudley Regular Saver. In terms of depositing money, I assume that it has a new roll/reference number (as seen in my accounts) but the same Society Account number and Sort Code as per the Dudley Regular Saver? In which case I will then make my deposit rather than waiting for their email….
