Darlington issue 2
Summary box says "Maximum account balance is £3,000 (we will return any payments made over)".

I dare say enquiries will be raised if anyone reports being able to open multiples.

Ive had a reply from Cambridge bs, which says they have done a manual interest calculation and agree my interest is more than £117.
However they say the maturity manager is only a estimate and the amount paid can differ. Seems like a excuse for faulty software to me. Since other building society manage to calculate accurately (except Darlington). Doesn't excuse being told it was accurate when I first queried it.
Will now wait and see what interest I actally receive and how they handle my maturity instructions.

Halifax Regular Saver
In light of today's news about the abolition of the brand, the website now says that the regular saver is still available to open via the Halifax app. I was able to log into my Halifax account via the browser and open a new account.
Who knows how long it will remain available to open but I likely won't be doing a refresh this time in case it goes NLA.

Halifax Regular SaverWhen you say you were "able to log into my Halifax account via the browser and open a new account" — is that in addition to another regular saver you hold with Halifax or not. Probably the latter, but just checking…

I only hold the one I opened today

Darlington
I can see mention of the £3000 limit in the summary box of the first issue of the 12 month regular saver, but mention of the limit is missing in the summary box for issue 2.
