Im really liking Nationwide account for fund RS very easy to do manually and identify what account, any new ones I’m opening are funded from here, just transferred lump sum in today ready for tomorrow’s funding.

As predicted, Virgin Money RS at 6.5% NLA. P1 to be updated later this evening.

Can you predict when they might relaunch one? Obviously this might change now as part of Nationwide, but hopefully they offer another 6.5 soon, I think most that opened early will be maturing shortly.
Edit - Mines matures 6th August0 -
Furness
I may give that a try as I noticed my funding never shows on the 1st of the month ( or the Monday after a weekend) it always shows dated 2nd (or later wkds / BH)
ahhhh.. just realised I don’t hold an easy access with Furness I have a triple access so can’t use it every month as a transfer option I don’t think ?

Virgin - previously they've offered their regular saver every 3 months, and it's been available for a month before being withdrawn. From memory, it was available last May, August and November, then February this year. They've broken the pattern by launching in June this year rather than May. It could be available again in September, but don't count on it.

Well regardless, when/if it's launched, stay tuned to this and/or the archived thread and you'll soon know about it.

Don't. If you send today directly to the RS it will be rejected and it will take 5 working days to be returned to you. I know. I tried this with one of their previous RS after being slightly annoyed of late money postings. Do the Everyday Saver trick mentioned.

Any benefit to funding via the Everyday Saver, rather than just directly funding on the 1st? Just feels like extra work, unless I'm missing something...

Extra day of interest I think? I found that if I fund the Furness BS RS directly tomorrow (01/07/2026) via FP, even if I do it first thing in the morning, it will not show as "in" until 02/07/2026 and would also be dated as 02/07/2026. And if I try to fund today via FP it would get rejected - tested this out.

Does it arrive in the Everyday Saver quicker than it does in the Regular Saver, then?
So instead of losing a day at your feeder account rate, it's earning 1.6% for the day?
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?2
