I understand the initial deposit must come from the NBA. Does the same requirement apply to the subsequent monthly deposits as well?

    Bucks BS

The T&Cs only state that the first deposit must come from the nominated account.

Heads up if you have a cambridge bs regular saver. I have a extra reward rs about to mature, that is maxed out and paid into on 1st of every month so was expecting a bit more than the £117 interest shown in estimated balance example in the product info.

My account is showing less than £100 interest in estimated of final balance, so I queried this and was told the amount was correct and the £117 was wrong.

Not impressed I replied why are u still using it in your product info if it's wrong. Asking them to think again, waiting to hear back.

I mention it since u might want to double check if u have a rs with Cambridge BS

This is the 6% one at £300 pcm? The £117 figure looks right to me even without any tricks like opening late in the month. If the account was fully funded at the start of each month and there wasn't a delay between the 1 year term starting and funding, then I can't see how the interest could be as low as £100.

Can only think that the "interest in estimated of final balance" (wherever that is shown) is wonky.

When does the account actually mature/when will you see the actual interest paid?

Yes £300pcm @6%. I did my own maths for a estimate and got more than £117. I also checked the mse rs calculator before I contacted them.

I opened it later than the 1st so the interest should be slightly more I think.

They are now looking into it.

Cambridge BS Extra Rewards RS: I received £126+ interest on this exact same product (6%, £300 pm), two years in a row. Both times, I opened the account with £300 late in the month, then paid 11 following £300 contributions on the 1st of each month.

If you're seeing less than £100, perhaps one of the following applies:

    1. The figure you're seeing is the accrued interest to date, not the projected final interest; or
    2. You missed a monthly payment; or
    3. You actually have the 5% RS (different product), not the 6% RS.

Please do let us know if any of the above fits.

The regular RS pays around £100 give or take £5 depending on deposits, are you sure you have the extra?

Yes I have the extra reward rs issue 2, it says so and says 6% on the website portal, and current balance of £3600, the maturity option shows the estimated final balance which is a bit more than the pending as I would expect.

I have a feeling my account was somehow left at 5% when I upgraded to extra at maturity from regular a year ago, even though web portal says it's a extra reward rs issue 2 and 6%. Looking back at my notes they screwed up the maturity a year ago and I had to ring to get it corrected, but now don't think it was fixed completely.
