Interest is paid on the account anniversary the system shows an incorrect date. I have this confirmed by Buck BS. Unfortunately the system they use (which is used by a lot of smaller societies) has this 'bug' or 'feature'. Same as Monmouthshire BS. Mansfield BS do actually use this date.

Dudley - no further notification emails from Dudley regarding the loyalty saver applications sent via email 2 days ago but I checked the accounts online. The new loyalty savers are listed and called Dudley loyalty saver issue 3 and not 1117 as previously. Funded and set up standing orders, google charted and set up the calendar reminders etc.
Is that the 'NEW' Dudley Loyalty Saver 5.75% that was mentioned by @Kazza242 on 24 June 2026, and that seemed to disappear from Dudley's website not long after? You applied by email and it's already been opened and funded?

Yes - I rang Dudley to check if I qualified and the assistant went off for a while and then confirmed that I was. She also said that the website was being adjusted. I emailed the forms in that morning.
Next day I had a notification that they had been received .
Then yesterday afternoon on a whim I logged in and it was showing not as "reg saver 1117" but as "loyalty regular saver issue 3". I then funded, did the SO, adjusted the Google charts and google calendar etc. This morning I've just checked and the funding is showing with the correct 5.75%.
No emails from Dudley yet but maybe the next communication is by post.
I cant be the only one to have applied in that brief few hours it was showing on the website?

Monmouthshire Building Society
Do they accept a 13th payment? Got an RS maturing end of July. Given payments in don't show till the next day, would rather not waste time/effort with bounce backs if they don't.

Santander
You can set up a Santander SO to your current account from your external account, and then separately an internal SO from CA to RS. If there is a mismatch in timing between when money goes into the CA and then tries to go out to the RS, Santander will retry the SO later in the day so it ends up in the RS by the end of the day in either case. Avoids you having to keep a balance in your CA, or send the SO the day before to avoid loss of interest.

Dudley RS 1117 is on their list of NLA accounts, so must be last year's. Issue 3 is not yet on the website!
