That is how I've read it tbh, but wanted to see if anybody else agreed.

Bucks BS Regular Saver applications
I spoke to a very friendly and professional CSA this afternoon, he advised that they'd had a high number, 300 applications and it was taking a bit longer than usual but were working through them and expect this to be finished by the end of the week. I said that a number of these probably came from the MSE forum and we had been advised to be patient, I thanked him for their service which he appreciated.

It's in the 4th attachment (six digit name) of the 'info' e-mail … [edit] 20-01-72 20224448 (Barclays account) use your ten digit account number as the reference.

Santander
Thanks. I should have read further:
A ‘month’ is calculated by the date that you open your account. For example, if you open the account on the 16th of a month, your month will run from the 16th of one month to the 15th of the next month

After closing in chat does the old Santander RS disappear completely? Does the new RS need to be opened? I was wondering how they implement an upgrade.

You can do it on 1st July, but the cut off date will remain 23rd.

if you have funded the account with the full monthly allowance then your next funding cannot be ùntil 1 month ahead as per the terms and conditions. Open on, say 23 June, as I have done, and fund it with the full monthly amount, the next possible funding date is 1 month ahead. So the account cannot be funded on 1 July if you have fully funded it today

Yes, the old one disappears completely. You need to empty it before asking for closure. Interest gets paid when they process your closure request.
Once your old RS is gone, you need to apply for the 8% one. Takes a couple of minutes, may be five or ten, before you can see it in your account / app. Log out and in if needed to refresh. You can then make your first deposit, and set up a standing order if you want to.
If you had a standing order to feed the old account, don't forget to cancel it.1 -
Bucks.
Many thanks, dealyboy. The 'info' email was the only one that went into Spam, if anyone else can't find theirs.0 -
When the old RS disappears you need to open a new one, it's not an automatic upgrade.
