Yes, it’s definitely not being done chronologically, or even with/without queries. I’m still waiting and my application was confirmed immediately, OH had the message saying more checks needed and then that was opened Saturday morning, we’re both new customers.

it's an anniversary month - so second £200 goes in anytime after the 23rd… for me, i'll delay that until 1st August to match with RS depositing schedule.

The terms say You can make any number of payments into the account, up to the maximum monthly deposit amount, which to me would imply you are not limited to making payments on the same day each month

I haven't had any problems with my 5% saver paying in on 1st month after opening my account on 11th February. Unlike Zopa who will stop you transferring earlier than the equivalent day each month.

Santander were very quick in closing my old RS today. I requested it in chat this morning, and it was all done before 3pm. New RS now opened and funded 😎

That is not answering the previous poster’s question.

If they have just funded the account with £200, they cannot pay in another £200 until at least a month from today.

Bucks BS Regular Saver applications

I spoke to a very friendly and professional CSA this afternoon, he advised that they'd had a high number, 300 applications and it was taking a bit longer than usual but were working through them and expect this to be finished by the end of the week. I said that a number of these probably came from the MSE forum and we had been advised to be patient, I thanked him for their service which he appreciated.

It's in the 4th attachment (six digit name) of the 'info' e-mail … [edit] 20-01-72 20224448 (Barclays account) use your ten digit account number as the reference.
