Probably just let your SO take its course. That's what I will do, as I can't see any option for eking out a few pennies more 😅
The w/e and bank holiday will just be a minor delay for the final £250, and peanuts interest, but your previous deposits will still all be earning interest over that holiday period.

Halifax.
My Halifax RS matured on 14 June and was renewed. In order to fund it this month, I've just 'upgraded' it to a savings account, in order to open a new RS. However, as soon as I log in, they remove the option of opening a new RS.Is this just a matter of time, doing it on a Saturday, or is there some other reason, does anyone know?

Good question. Does anyone know if Bucks credits weekend payments on the same day or next working day? If not, it will have to be 4th May.
It says "save up to £3,000", but we've seen a number of providers not enforcing the stated limit. I'm sure there will be enthusiasts to give it a go😀

Lloyds seem to no longer allow a club Lloyds monthly and a Lloyds monthly.
You can only have either 1 Monthly Saver or Club Lloyds Monthly Saver account, held either in your sole name or jointly but not both.
