I applied on Thursday night too as a new customer (application needed further checks), but received nothing (email or text) until just now when I received my "Registration Successful" email… so I can at least login now - though no account showing there yet.

so for those still waiting, keep patient - they are still working through the backlog.

update - 2 mins after posting, I received the "Info" email… which included my account details (now manually added), the product pdf, t&c pdf and standing order doc… also, it says deposit must be received within 30 days of receiving the email (apologies if that was posted previously).

Club Lloyds Monthly Saver vs Lloyds Monthly Saver ….

I phoned Lloyds CS this morning having unsuccessfully tried the "Chat" (!) … they confirmed that when my Club MS matures at the end of the week, I won't be able to apply for a new one while I hold the Monthly Saver. However, I am allowed to close the Monthly Saver and then I can apply for the new Club MS.

Given the "Hobson's choice" nature of Lloyd's policy change, I can't think of a better option but to close the MS in favour of the new Club MS … are there any snags I haven't thought of?

Only one email in my junk and it wasn’t Bucks.

What did anyone who has used the Dudley BS Faster Payment withdrawal form put in the reason for payment box? I’d understand it if it said payment reference (as the saver might want something specific so as to identify the transaction in their own records) but that’s not what it says. Did whatever was entered in that box appear on the transaction? I just don’t want any more money landing August (Monmouthshire) so I don’t know whether to just write moving the money to higher paying accounts.

Applied on 19 June when it was open again for a short time, at the end got a message that verification failed and support will get back and provided the reference number.

Just now received email from them saying my application has been successful and given all the details to fund but account not yet appearing on my portal.

Thanks, did not know that there is an option to add account. My OH just told me that she only had to fund it and did not add the account manually, I think once £250 is credited account shows automatically

I did a version of this. Closed matured and renewed Halifax RS in order to open another which I'd be able to fund without waiting till the next month.

But I can't open another. Their message said, "You wouldn't be able to open another Monthly Saver if you've opened one within the last 12 months."

my OH deposited Fri noon and only saw app this morning and £250 was there and she didnt have to add account as well, she didnt check over the weekend. Mine is still pending and not showing £250 yet (applied on friday but got opened only this morning)

Lucky you. I applied Thursday evening and am still waiting for my account number to be able to fund it.
No doubt it will eventually come though.
