I m not that bothered for 5.25pc but I can't apply for a Lloyds monthly saver either, nor can I renew any of my Easy Access Savers to a Monthly Saver. I have the Club going already so it seems Lloyds are restricting to one Regular Saver only

Well spotted. I'll class it as a new issue of the RSs for the purposes of this thread, p1 to be updated later today.

I've been reading about the Lloyds Monthly savers posts and was wondering if, in future, you will be unable to hold both BoS and Lloyds versions as well?

Re Bucks RS
I applied and came up against the same technical problem. On Friday Bucks sent me a text message about seeing that I had applied and to please submit a new application, this came in at 1.30p.m. As I was out and about with others I waited to apply until tea-time by which it had become 'unavailable'.
I've emailed them about it, perhaps I'll get lucky, perhaps I won't!

They are different brands, so hopefully that won't be the case, although I don't have Lloyds account. Have BoS and Halifax RS's. Just have to wait and see what happens there.

Bucks BS RS … May 2027 payment …
Of course, you are right. For the small difference that final £250 delay will make to interest, it's easier to let the SO take its natural course 😀

My Club Lloyds RS matures on
29/07(edit 29/06!) and my Lloyds RS in Feb 2027. So do I have a choice of closing the Lloyds RS down in favour of a new Club RS, in say, July? I haven't done any number bashing yet but was going to delay a new Club RS until the end of July to even out maturing RSs next year.Compiler of the RS League Table.

Whilst I can't apply for a Lloyds monthly saver whilst holding the CL variant, I still have the options to apply for both Halifax and BoS RS accounts through their respective apps. Who knows if this is next on the chopping block or not. Wouldn't be surprised for Halifax at least, given they seem to be winding the brand down.

I'll be surprised if they don't honour it, keep us posted. Good luck.

Lloyds
I opened a new Lloyds RS last month. My Club Lloyds RS matures in October. It now appears I'll have to close the 5.25% one by October. As I don't want more interest paid this tax year (where it's taxable but I still have some 0% starting rate available next tax year), it doesn't make sense to fund it any more and I may as well close it now.
