The "Apply" button reappeared around 11am today, I managed to get to the adobe sign page as an existing customer, and then the gateway timeout as usual!, and then the entire mybbs went down for a while

    Bucks RS :

Somewhat miraculously I got through the signature bit easily, as soon as I saw it I thought 'no chance' as I'm not overly proficient with technology.

Hopefully nobody will be waiting too long although the weekend will no doubt extend that.

Buckingham building society Regular Saver application question.

I successfully managed to apply and register yesterday evening, so is it normal for your online account to be blank until some human manually inputs my information?

The site looks identical to monmouthshire and Scottish building society except the colour scheme and lm sure when l logged on with them, the account details were there ready.

I'm the same, believe that the account will appear once the application has been processed/approved. You'll get an email with the account details in due course.

There's an Add Account button too, once you have the account number.

The platform is from Newcastle Strategic Solutions - owned by Newcastle BS - https://www.newcastlesolutions.co.uk/

Lots of the smaller building societies use this platform, but they configure it to work in many different ways, some seem to require more manual intervention than other setups.

Looking at this mornings error messages some of the infrastructure seems to be running on Microsoft Azure cloud.

    Re Buckinghamshire Building Society

I've just had a text from them and from there have been able to click through to successfully apply, receiving automatically the email giving me user ID and an activation code.

The text told me that my application hadn't been successful but that they were aware I had tried to apply for the 6.4% based on the information I had input on my laptop. Going through the text meant I had to complete my second attempt at application on my phone, but this at least meant I could sign (as dodgy as my writing looked!)

This was off the back of applying this morning and upon being "directed to the signature page" the whole thing just stopped with nowhere to sign.

    Hope this helps

Also got a txt saying try again so did just that.

Windows laptop, Firefox, pop-ups disabled (probably not necessary)

Worked fine and typed a signature to complete the application

Have managed to log into mybbs portal with the email activation details - just waiting for the next email to hopefully confirm account details.

    Buckingham BS RS

If it's of help, I decided to apply for this about 10 minutes ago (Friday just after 1 pm), having seen the initial Heads-Up several pages back.

    Using a Chromebook.

The whole process was very smooth and very quick. No glitches anywhere and received my 2 notification emails almost instantaneously.

Decided to carry on reading the rest of the thread and was surprised to see so many issues. I hope everyone has managed to get sorted
