Has anyone tried refreshing their Monmouthshire 6% regular saver?
Short on funds so might try to refresh it. I assume withdrawals are not same day.

Mansfield BS
Good - Processed postal application for Milestone Saver with £500 cheque deposit 30/1/26 so able to fund by faster payments another £500 for February. I presume it is ok to make 13 payments, so set up 9 x £500 SO payments starting beginning of March as maturity will be 30/1/27.
Not so good - Closed Bonus RS8 26/1/26 , balance plus interest withdrawal by cheque in post was cleared today. Thank goodness for processing cheques via mobile banking app so no need to visit bank. Lost about £3 in interest compared to a faster payment payout. Decided not to open a new Bonus RS as the 5.1% rate and postal application plus the cheque withdrawal at the end leaves me unimpressed.

As I recall when I withdrew via the app, it was same day - but as it's now 3:20pm, I would expect it to be tomorrow.
Use of the app seems to take a day off of the timescale vs online banking.

RE: Mansfield BS My Milestone Saver
I am a new customer and have printed out the application form. What proof of ID need to be enclosed with the form and do they need to be the original, please?

Original or certified. I had an application pack and in it they suggested ID be sent if you believed an electronic search was likely to fail, from which I figured those with a record of having applications approved without the need for ID could just send the form.

I just sent the completed application form and cheque, did not send ID documents. Account was opened without any request for ID documents, Presumably electronic ID was successful. Unless you are failrly sure that electronic ID will fail, I would suggest just sending the completed form and cheque.
