After dithering for a few weeks, I've decided to switch away to E.On, 12 mth fix with £50 exit fee, 22.786p KW 57.90p SC. Would have preferred to stay with Octopus but their fix just not competitive, 25.29p KW 53.76p SC. Majority of electricity use is over winter so happy to take a slight gamble on a better KW rate now. (we're not on a smart meter, not available for where our meter is located)

V2 now out, which is a couple of pence cheaper in electric, and a fraction lower on gas. (East Midlands.)

My electric fix ends on the 31st, but I think I'll still roll onto flexible, as I'm a low user.

Octopus effectively matched EDF 24 houri cheaper 12 Month fix advertised to end 4pm today.

I don't know whether to jump now from my current Fixed Rate that ends in October (was 24.53 unit rate reduced to 21.02 in March, 52.04 SC) to their June 26 v1, which is obviously higher than that which I'm on now. Despite pouring over the figures, I can't decide which would future protect better as it'd take me on for another 12 months effective now, or wait until October, which would be fixed until Oct 27.

Without knowing whether fixes will get better or worse and now Octopus have early exit fees, I'd imagine a few with fixes ending in the coming months are trying to decide whether to fix now or wait and either fix later or stay on flexible for a while.

Maybe account related, but links to change tariff, either individual or both fuels, have appeared on the dashboard, and is also back working on the mobile app (click tariff name on the usage tab). You can select either flexible or the latest fix and below it shows a comparison with current.
