There are new fixed versions of Octopus Go and Intelligent Octopus Go. Here are the rates in Southern region.

    Octopus Go 12M Fixed April 2026 v1

    • Day unit rate: 32.72 p/kWh
    • Night unit rate: 9.50 p/kWh
    • Standing charge: 47.71 p/day

Intelligent Octopus Go 12m Fixed April 2026 v1 is the same as above but with an 8p/kWh night rate.

Those are the same SC and offpeak rates as on the previous March 2026 v2 tariffs, but peak is 1p/kWh cheaper.

There's also an EV Saver version (for people who have purchased an EV through Octopus) that has a 7p/kWh night rate.

The other fixes are unchanged, as far as I can see.

Hello. Could someone please tell me how to get details of the Octopus tariffs? I'm already with Octopus but when I try to check the new tariffs that people suggest, I don't seem to have the options to check. Thanks

scroll to bottom of page "our Tariffs". put in postcode but don't click the quote me price, then filter out business tariffs etc. this is on the web page, not the app. probably need to be logged out.

Well, I decided an octopus in the hand is worth two in the bush.

I've switched to the "fixed" version of Intelligent Octopus Go, as quoted above. From tomorrow for me it's 1.1p a kWh more than the flexible version offpeak and 2.5p more peak, and it's 2p a day less on the standing charge. It'll be an extra ~£40 a year for my household.

But - I'm guaranteed those prices for 12 months, and there's no exit fee so if the energy market settles down and a cheaper version comes along I can switch.

    I'd have done the same.

Too much uncertainly in the global energy market to be taking chances over next winter.
