Apologies for not posting for far too long. Stuff. And also feeling like I've nowt to say! Imagine, apple being quiet 🤣
beAnie, hope you're settling in to being on your own. Did your mum try to look after you?! Is your head healing up ok?
I've applied for carer's allowance, and Pip has had a letter checking that he knows me 🤣🤣
Dawn, your GD sounds awesome !
Like others, 've lost track of NSDs but both Pip and myself and dh have all been poorly what with one thing or another, so I know money spending has been minimal. We did all go to a toy and antique fair, where I spent £4 on a ring and bracelet, Pip spent maybe a tenner, and dh spent the most, buying several coffees!
I've enjoyed watching the winter Olympics, and have started catching up on the six nations - I've been determinedly avoiding any hints of the results.
Just in case I disappear again, I'll set up March x

Got up early, and it isn't raining - yet!
Went to an antiques market yesterday and bought several items for my sales unit, which was a business expense so did not affect my NSD chances. What did affect them though was filling up the car with fuel and buying a bottle of wine to take with us as we were invited to lunch with DS and D in Law. Had a nice afternoon and also saw eldest GS and his lovely girlfriend 😊
Today I need to post a parcel, do some washing and put away some sales stock which is threatening to take over the front room. Also make a shopping list for tomorrow and clean out the fridge, using or freezing what needs going, so as to avoid waste. I am planning a veggie meal tonight as we had meat yesterday. I might also make soup and a rice pudding.
Grateful for crocuses and mini daffodils in the garden and no rain yet!

🤣😂🤣 I'd not even noticed til you pointed it out F0xy! Those that know me, know I make a double entendre out of anything, & this time it wasn't even intentional!! 😂🤣😂
It's been a good day. Made stir fry veg & rice for today & tomorrow's packed lunches, before breakfast. Work has gone well, pupil following instructions & walking independently, without running off 😀 Went for a walk round the block before tea, saw lots of rabbits, some geese & 2 male pheasants. Went to the cinema this evening with DH & DS3. Spoke to a lady we lived next door to, 22 years ago, on the way out.
Grateful for laughter, a good day, lovely blue skies, going to the cinema & a break from sewing 😍
Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

I didn't notice the willow 'thing' either 😂
Ugh, I have a cold, but thankfully not too bad. I am asthmatic, and dread the sort that cause dreadful coughing. Doesn't seem to be the case this time though 😊
Shopping this morning, and OH bought a huge reduced duck in Mr W, which has scuppered my meal planning. It would be much cheaper to go without him but now he is retired it is impossible sadly. Anyway, he is out tomorrow morning for a while so a bit of peace then at least. He would be devastated if I were to do the weekly shop without him though 🤣
Cleaned both bathrooms 😊
Pulled a bit more green slimy stuff out of my pond, leaving it on the side so that any critters can find their way back in if they want to. It is a lovely sunny day for a change, and makes me feel that spring is really on the way ❤️
Had a bit of a change round in my sales unit.
Ought to have done more really, but am taking it easy to hopefully get rid of my cold soonest.
Grateful for a day that feels like spring is on the way!

Today I am grateful for waking us with yukky snot (yes, really! My sinuses have finally stopped working overtime to cause me pain!), for balm tissues, for adding pom-poms to a hat, for using something id previously knitted to make a beehive, for cold water, for blue skies.

Today I'm grateful for another 2 NSDs, finally 2 nights of good sleep, puppy pics, some amazing results in work, excel spreadsheets and a pool at work.
Not sure if I missed it but has anyone volunteered for March yet. I might if not.

Good morning,
I hope everyone is ok, it's gone really quiet here?
Can't wait for the weekend and payday. Did a food audit yesterday and had a chat with the kids about meal ideas that we all eat or that are easily adjustable. Also the new school lunch system is working well (i.e. hiding the counted snacks I need for their lunches, while they can eat what they can see but I'm not buying more till shopping day) and I bought zero snacks in work this week.
DH will be away this weekend again and I have a fair bit of gardening planned.
Better dash to the pharmacy before I forget again and see if I can get hay-fever tablets on the minor ailments scheme for DD as they are only allowed meds with a pharmacy sticker on the residential trip at the end of March. We usually just buy them from the supermarket but those aren't allowed.
