Evening,
Longest work day today with 10 hours although managed to nip out at lunch to run into town to the bank for my monthly cash withdrawal, so have this evening sorted out my cash envelopes for the month. The £10 I lost a couple of weeks ago has magically appeared so the adjustment I made has been removed to get everything back even.
The living rooms are ok at the moment and am keeping on top of the kitchen and bathroom so have spent some more time this evening sorting my craft room !!!!!! office. Still a long way to go as there are piles of 'stuff' all over. Need to sort out some blue card out for the cake topper and will tidy a few more bits as I do then it will be up and away to bed as I am up early for the office tomorrow.
Sending positive and healing vibes to those are hurting whether physically or mentally.

managed to do some flying. So pleased I wrote down the sequence of events leading up to drs visit so I could hand it over - also showed her 2 days of tablets-I-have_been_taking lists - basically that was to stop me accidentally overdosing. Still some pain but no where near as grim as it was.
so I have done a binbag dance, put the bin out, waahed and partly TD the tablecloth which is not supposed to go in the TD but I haven't taken it to bone dry. it is damp enough to iron, it's cotton. I have vacuumed the stairs, emptied the shredder and swiffered the hallway. WM and DW loaded. DD is away this week and I had intended to level 3 everywhere but haven't been up to it, sadly.
Thank you for all your support and kind comments - very much appreciated xx

morming all
Went to visit SD the other day and take hime shopping. He and his neighbour have now reinstalled the cat flap the correct way round so the battery section is inside the house (apparently there were 'no instructions' - its a sure flap, they come with a booklet as thick as a car manual) and I spotted the instruction leaflet for the little heater he has on his coffee table - an outdoor, gas cylinder heater intended 'for outdoor use only". I have told him he is now at risk of CO poisoning but he assures me he will 'be alright'. Another of his attempts to cost cut and this one could cost him his life.
DW and WM run.
DD is 30 today…how did that happen?

Afternoon all. Two washloads done, including one lot of bedding. Mostly dry, just a couple of things waiting for the heating to come back on later.
Met DDs this morning and we had a good walk (cold!) and coffee and a small shop.
Tomorrow we are dogsitting so obviously it's going to rain…..
Hope everyone's OK x

I spent some time, in short bursts, in our spare room which we designate as HQ because it's where all our papers, computers and stuff are kept.
Did some filing, shredding and putting away and putting in the bin.Polished the desk, desk lamp and top of the storage units.
What I'm learning from the fly lady approach is that it is so much easier to keep things looking neat and tidy and clean. Even a few minutes a day has a positive effect. Thank you all for inspiring a newbie.

Afternoon all,
Today has been conspicuous by its total lack of flying. Tomorrow is another day, and I refuse to beat myself up. I went to old work via small town, ran an errand for DH, then had lunch and a catch up with ex work colleagues. I came back via the surgery for a nurse appointment, home in time for the Mr M delivery. A small shop, due to meal planning and looking at stores before deciding what to plan / cook / shop for.
My wool order also arrived, so knitting can recommence. Of course, there is a wool stash, but I conveniently forgot about that when I ordered new wool…6 -
Foodbank. Dentist. Morribunds. Forgot to fill the car up, but it was bucketing down so I didn't go back. Now resting before shoving the oven on and things in it for supper, while I bake the flans for the weekend. Shattered.

excellent flingage today. Nephew popped round so he has collected the roll of fencing; his sons are desperate for a pet so he's sorting a rabbit run/hutch. I also posted door hinges on a free local group and they've been collected.

Evening all, I never got around to posting this morning as I have been busy with paid stuff and some uni work. The only flying that I have managed is to do a load of laundry, load and switch the DW on and empty the kitchen bin.
Now, after a busy day, I'm going to relax and watch some tv with a cuppa before getting an early night.

I have been out of the house for 12 hours today, went to see Mum and Dad at lunch time which was nice and I knew I was going to be working late so it broke the day up a bit.
So no Flying, but there will be time to catch up tomorrow.
Blackcats little and often is definitely the way to go, and my mantra is clean it before it looks like it needs cleaning. Well that's the theory at least!
