OH's small jobseltee2 said:
OH has fixed/replaced the broken sneck on the back gate and is now circling around the broken bathroom window handle with bits of new handle in his hand - giving it two coats of looking at I think. Once he's finished, that'll be 3 things done from his small job list 😃
✔️Bathroom window handle - DONE!
2 X Replacement LED strips - one finished✔️, one to go
I've FUPA'd the dry stuff - it went nowhere near the chair previously known as the clean laundry-waiting-to-be-put-away area. Things they are a changing 👍"I started out with nothing

It’s been a pretty productive day by my flying standards, and considering it is Kitchen day which I try to wriggle out of at the drop of a hat.
Flying has included wm x 1 hot wash of towels etc, thorough dusting (including duster on a stick thingy and behind the radiators!) in the DR, utility room and kitchen, vacuuming floors in those rooms plus the hall, scrubbing the oven shelves and cleaning the oven door, cleaning the fridge seals and cleaning the downstairs loo. I also drove to pick DH up from the big town as his car is now in the garage, hopefully annoying them with the alarm and not deciding to behave itself. As I thought to meal plan yesterday and actually check out the fridge and cupboard stores at the same time, I also soaked some beans last night and boiled them up this morning. Feeling quite virtuous at that. Tonight’s dinner is from the freezer where there are glimmers that shuffle room might actually exist. That is a first for a long time.
The plan for this evening includes knitting. Did I mention that I might have bought some more wool today? No I thought I didn’t. Whistles nonchalently…6 -

Morning all xx
Valli - please ring the dentist and tell them how much pain you're in. You may have dry socket or an infection that needs more than painkillers to sort it. It doesn't sound right to me.
Back to the paid stuff today for me. First time without Joey supervising my every move as I get ready 💔 And breathe.....I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, packed my lunch bag, eaten breakfast and I'm supping a brew.
Sounds like the forecast rain and hoolie have arrived - I've not opened the curtains yet but I can hear the wind, and rain is running down the kitchen window. Outside, not in! Just to clarify.
I cleaned my sink and the bottom of the washing up bowl yesterday. Naughty flylady that I am, I don't shine it every day. Sack me now 😯
Have a good day. Stay safe.

Morning all. Valli, I agree with Round.
Just having breakfast. So far today I have caught up on admin, freshened sofa throws and s&sd downstairs loo. Also packaged a parcel to post later when I'm out for exercise class.
Miserable weather so not sure when Poppet will get her walk.Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Morning all, It's a wet and very stormy day here.
My list for today
Do paid stuff
Make a doc appointment
Attend uni lecture
Do some work on uni assignment
Tidy the clutter on the top of the drawers in the bedroom
Take DD to the stables so she can feed and check on her pony
I think that is everything that I need to tackle. I hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday.

Me again. I've had a lovely soak in the bath. Still pouring down so I've changed bedding and s&sd the bathroom. First of three wash loads is in machine and apart from putting recycling out the dailies are done.

Morning all,
Valli, please contact the dentist, even if they just say to carry on with what you are doing.I was pleased to see the hall and LR on today’s list as I had ticked those off on Sunday / yesterday. Just as I thought to put my flying feet up, I felt a need to stay one small step ahead of the game. Bedding changed and washed, the td will be brought into play. It is a newish addition to the household at DH’s behest. I try not to use it unless it’s dire weather and a pile of hard to dry washing. Today is that day. Bedroom dusted, I am now going to run round it and the landing with the vacuum cleaner.
DD is on her long way home. I have made carrot soup, bread to be baked later, and pastry for a quiche. All her favourite things plus the quiche will be a Contents of The Fridge Surprise Quiche which will see off some odds and ends. I snuck a couple of handfuls of lentils into the soup as part of the store cupboard rationalisation effort.6 -
Afternoon all
Been out for a 'big' shop with OH, managed to spend the shopping budget for the week but we did go to the butcher's, the baker's (we really did😀) and Mr T. The fridge & freezer are now full to the brim as I'vebeen batch cooking as well. Just top-up shops for at least two weeks.
Working my way through L1 & 2 from the list, L3 a possibility.
Get that tooth looked at Valli

.Been to dentist - they saw me despite having no emergency appointments available Cried like a baby… because I'm so stressed by the pain etc. and it hurts constantly, she cleaned it out and put some sort of gel in. I think the decision to remove the tooth was not the right one at this time. I hope they feel sodding guilty for putting me through this.
Everything requires effort now - my plan to clean out drawers etc on the back burner. I will also not be going to my vol. job tomorrow
