If it's for me we don't have work commitments, don't have any savings account and the only money coming in is UC and child benefit plus the odd transfer from one of the kids for their food or shopping. Might be one or 2 transactions not more than £20.

In terms of bank statements, online statements are generated the way they are by the bank, I can't change that. In the last review this was fine, I think this agent now also wants the monthly statements which still show the same transactions !

Have you actually met this agent ? Because I suspect they have taken the monthly stance because they have doubts on your capital. If it's someone at a local jobcentre. I would be inclined to visit them and Citizens Advice.

How do you know how long they have been looking at you review?

You are one of many to be looked at, so yours will be sat waiting for someone to look at 🤷‍♀️

Some people do not realise that PayPal, Premium bonds & NS&i etc are all part of the checks.

How would I meet a 'virtual team' agent who UC Reviews use?

There's nothing suspect about my capital, we have no other money coming in apart from UC and child benefit. We have no savings accounts. I'm in arrears with all bills including mortgage. That's not the profile of someone with savings.

UC comes in and is used in a few weeks. The agent asked for statements again because Lloyds online transactions don't show the balance column only IN and OUT. For my RBS account I went into branch and got them to print out as the name and address is then shown, whereas online transactions statements don't show this but do show the balance column.

So, Lloyds online transactions statements don't show balance column only IN and OUT and RBS online transactions statements show balance, IN and OUT but not name and address.

So there's nothing to be suspect about. I just said it because in the previous review 14 months the online transactions statements were accepted for Lloyds and for RBS they wanted monthly statements with the name and address. That's why I went into RBS branch this time and got them to print statements out. But this agent hasn't accepted the Lloyds statements like the last one did. That's all.

I gave my Paypal statement in the last review but no longer have a Paypal account as they passed it to debt collection. I have no ISA, NSI, or any other type of account other than the current accounts shown.

Yes, for UC review purposes they are only supposed to accept the official bank statements - the statement you would receive in the post if you are not paperless. You can download pdf copies of these from your inbox (Lloyds online banking/app), and these are indeed subtly different from the 'statements' you can generate yourself online, but as you say they of course show exactly the same transactions.

I've had to give the same bank statements 3 times, this agent didn't accept what the agent in the previous review did so i've had to do (1) an online printout then I did (2) a printout from branch then (3) monthly statements. All showing the same transactions.

I have no other accounts, no savings, ISA, paypal etc. Just the few bank accounts where UC is paid into one and another one I use for online purchases and bills/DDs and money is transferred between them.

For periods, at first she said 1 September 2025 to 31 December 2025 which was done, then 9 October 2025 to 9 February 2026 which was done then another month from 9 September 2025 to 8 October 2025, considering she already had 1 September 2025 to 31 December 2025.

She keeps calling late for appointments and mutters "system error" and carries on. A few times she's caught me busy when I couldn't really answer because she's called an hour later than the appointment time.
