Mostly asking you about any other accounts, property, investments you may hold not yet declared including paypal. Ask you about a couple or few transactions regarding bank statements provided e.g. 'there is a £2000 payment to Fred Bloggs... can you explain that to me?' or 'this deposit of £500 cash can you tell me where the cash came from'. Otherwise nothing much but hopefully soon after in journal confirmation the review is complete and there is no change to your award. They may ask for other documents such as statements from newly declared accounts before completing the review.

I only got the appointment today around 230pm for this coming friday at 230pm. They have not requested bank statments as of yet. Does that mean they wont ask for them at this stage? I dont have anything to hide just a pain trying to get it organised last minute as i am a full time carer.

Hmmm... procedure for a standard pseudo random review is providing ID documents and bank statements for last 4 months... then they arrange telephone interview once provided. Not sure if this is standard review or if just administratively disordered. Others might be better able to advise.... have you got the exact wording of messages in journal for the review you could paste.. obviously remove any personal information like name.

Have you applied for any other benefits recently or received any sudden payments.

Sometimes they do a call to explain the process, answer any questions, then you provide the information requested and have a more formal telephone interview at a later date.

I've got the same message today, UCR phone call on Monday. It's from Team 6 (virtual).

Is it a coincidence that yesterday I asked for some data from the DWP under Right of Access?

My last review was in October 2024.
