Sorry to hear that some people are still struggling with their health. (((Hugs))) and GWS wishes to all who need them.
Yesterday I spent an hour sorting our wedding photos (which have never found their way into an album) into four roughly equal piles: before the service, during the service, the bubbles and cake reception for everyone at the church, and the meal for family. This *should* make the first cull easier, but I want to make sure that I've got a photo of everyone somewhere in the reduced collection, and right now I can't find the Wedding folder that used to be on my computer and might still be on a memory stick/CD-ROM in yet another shoebox that I have no intention of going through this month! The photographer was a teaching colleague of mine who wanted to change career. Some of her pictures are great, some not, but it was her gift to us and much appreciated. Fortunately I think everyone made it onto at least one of the group photos, so that will help.
Late afternoon I phoned an elderly friend and listened to her woes; then we got sidetracked into genealogy because she commented that she knew very little about her ancestors as her mother had died young and she didn't have a chance to ask her, so I've promised to see what I can discover about her family history. Fatal mistake!
I conjured up yesterday's evening meal using fish from the freezer, half a bag of cheap peppers, some boiled new potatoes left over from Monday's meal, and peas. I've decided that my best way to meal plan is not to do so until I've bought what's on offer and filled the fridge, then I can just mix and match. And if I write an inventory, I shan't keep it up - instead I will update my shopping list template to show only the things that I actually buy nowadays.
This morning I'm off to the u3a Canal Group's indoor meeting, but first I must empty the overflowing kitchen bins. I've done a quick PUPA downstairs and left my bed open to air. DH got up too late to finish making breakfast before he had to go out for his leg clinic appointment - when will he learn that it takes him at least half an hour?
See you later, have a good day! xxx

Morning all,
A couple of annoying jobs off my list - kettle descaled and TD filters cleaned. I have rummaged through the kitchen freezer, which has drawers that now open and close with relative ease. Just don’t open the other freezer… Mr M is delivering this afternoon, meal plan has been done.
I am having a quick coffee and then will contemplate my plan of action for the rest of the day.
HB, I truly have a brain like a sieve. I knew that I had read that good advice somewhere!6 -

This week has been a month, however, I’ve managed to do some stuff this morning:
Usual morning prep and school runs.
BIG dog walk
Got my prescription sorted.
Some admin for DS1 completed.
Took DS2 lunch to school.Things still to do:
Put all the Christmas stuff in the loft. ✅
Take DS2 to the dentist. ✅
Pick up my prescription. Doing this tomorrow - traffic was crazy. I will have the time to walk tomorrow.Clean the kitchen. ✅
Do laundry. ✅
Fold and put away laundry.Decorate the window by the front door (I bought some vinyls. This is now a tomorrow’s job too.I got a bit carried away and ended up sweeping the loft, all round the living room then mopping the floor, sorting the bins etc.
So I ran out of time for the other bits on my list. 🤣Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.84 December 25
% of house owned/% of mortgage paid off. December 25 - 40.34%/33.36%

TD x 2, WM x 1 DW x 1
DW emptied and kitchen deep cleaned. Kilner-type jars (empty) that live on a high shelf in a cupboard have been brought down to go in the jar storage in the shed. Now up there are the empty, clean DE coffee jars (100g) that I use to store dry goods in the food cupboard, ready to be deployed. I have 5 types of rice in there and that doesn't include bog standard long grain, which is stored in a larger container.
I also cleaned out Miffy's hutch and the area under and around it; now refilled with straw and sawdust and the hay manger has been refilled. Food dishes anve been washed. I've just emptied Daisy's hutch so she's running round the garden while that airs and I have a late lunch.

DW emptied.
WM just finishing doing its stuff and then I'll load onto the heated airer
dusted and cleaned every slat of the Venetian blind in the study
another old, full notebook has been shredded and de-cluttered
Shower screen is now more sparkly than smeary and bathroom floor is nice and clean
a bit ad-hoc today but I'm pleased with the continued progress

Daisy back in her hutch with clean sawdust, bedding and food. Rabbits given treat of chew bar and half a tiny apple each.
Bathroom cleaned, again to Level 3. Had a sit down and have started kntiing another boob for the hospital - just the areola and nipple to do now.
Out at a meeting tonight.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Morning. It's very quiet on here. Are you all busy flying?
Today, I have done a work shift, dailies and dog walk. From the list I have polished flat surfaces and mirrors in our bedroom. I have also put dry washing away and thrown out a load of old nail polishes. Some of them came with me when we moved here near two decades ago. Yes, you read that right, decades not years.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Boob number 2 knitted - I can crack one out in an evening easily. Hope they get back to me before I knit too many
Windows open to air rooms. Will strip bed, do ironing then come and do the bedroom too.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
